Palmetto Marketing ripoff - don't order their magazines. It is a scam. Coral Springs Florida
On March 27, 2004, two young gentlemen came to my door selling magazines to win a trip to Cancun for the local school. They seemed a little too interested in my personal life and were more than interested than they should have been. I purchased two magazines to the total of $66 which seemed a little high, but I try to support the local students in their efforts.
I decided to cancel my subscription which stated I could do so within 72 business hours, but needed to send back the receipts to their Coral Spring address. I felt for sure that they would have an 800 phone number or even a number on the internet so I went searching. Much to my dismay, I had been taken advantage of in a scam. I immediately called my bank and they were kind enough to put stop payments on my check at no charge because of fradulent activity.
I hope this information helps others not to fall a victim of this scam.
