David of Park Plumbing sounded nice enough on the phone, and he said he'd send one of his "best plumbers" over to my home to do some plumbing repair.
First off, the guy he sent is or maybe isn't a plumber, I'm not so sure. He arrived two hours late. Then, he kept asking me if he could borrow tools, some of the which seemed to be things he should have on his truck. He needed a flashlight, a wrench, a pair of pliers.
The "plumber" (or so he said ) was supposed to fix three things for $300. That was the price he gave me. Then, after two hours and only one thing half-way fixed, he said he needed to get going, " Cause it's a Saturday and I've got things to git done."
I asked how much it would be, since he was leaving early and did not fix the things he said would be included in the $300, he said, "$300 - I cain't be expected to spend all day here and not git paid."
This guy was hugely overweight and he had a goon in his van out in my driveway, I was afraid and he probably sensed it. I paid him, and I will never call Park Plumbing again, if I want Larry the Cable Guy I'll watch him on Comedy Central.
Do not use Park Plumbing if you live in Tampa, Florida. Apparently, David brings in just about any one who knows how to flush a toilet ( actually, I'm not sure the guy did flush the toilet ) and hires them out as plumbers. Better to hire a reputable plumbing outfit then to get taken and not even get the repairs completed.
