I had applied to this company for the Sales Rep position for IN, IL, KY, KS, MO. I have 7+ years experience in the same industry with a nother national company but on top of that I also have experience with that same company as a size medium fit model and was also on the Trailrunning test team receiving trail running shoes from vendors in order to test them on the trail before they were manufactured giving my feedback on the design and performance of the shoe to the manufacturer. I also have climbed Mt Rainier and Mt Baker, bike toured in 19 different states, multiple sea kayak trips, have done 50k, 50 mile and 100 mile ultra marathon mountain runs. The list goes on. I used gear and outdoor technical clothing to it's fullest use in all conditions.
My outside B2B sales training and experience of another 5 years+ qualifies me for this position. I am the perfect candidate for this position and this woman who probably out of shape, over weight, always a bad attitude, has no clue about outdoor adventure and dedication passes me up even for a first interview. It is total discrimination to someone that is dedicated to the great outdoors and has sold everything from clothing, climbing gear, camping gear, running gear, ski gear, mountaineering gear, etc... along with using all the gear as well which makes me more then qualified for the position of just selling cloths. I felt obligated to tell everyone about this dicriminating company. Shame on you Patagonia for putting this knucklehead in the position to pass up an experienced sales pro.

That "Knucklehead" who passed you up, should get a promotion. If what you wrote is reflective of your personality - you are basically screwed. The world hasn't been waiting for you as you have thought.

Did you ever think that there may actually be someone else more qualified than you? No of course not because you are the ONLY one who could possibly qualify for that job...right?
Perhaps it was your attitude that did you in. I'll give you credit for one thing..at least you weren't stupid enough to post your name in this report. Because employees do search the Internet for anything you may have posted in a public forum and not many employees take to kindly to perspective or current employees bad mouthing their company.
