Paul Marshall Produce ripoff Batavia New York
I went to work at this trucking firm. I was told that you could make good money there by some of the drivers. If you are the low man on the pole all you get is all the junk frieght that pays nothing. They want you to run local frieght and then run a load over night when your hours are used up and run illegal. They give you nice decked out peterbilts with all the bells and whistles. they pay you 23 percent and you dont make any money.
They make you pay the com check charge if you get money for your self. You have to pay for your showers if you don't you will be a smelly truck driver like some of there guys are. They don't want you to buy fuel on the road so can't get a free shower at all. If a company gives you loose leaf log book expect to run illegal. Most of there local 48 feet reefers are junk. Some of them have old thermoking units on them and don't run worth of sh*t. They have holes in the trailers where the kemlite is gone and the insulation is showing. If the reefer have a side mount box with the lights on it that tells you what the reefer is doing don't work half the time. They don't tell you that they are making money off you by charging you ten percent of what you spend on the road like lumper fees.
You have to work a year to get any type of health insurance. They tell you they have long haul runs and they go to the people that been there for years. So basically you get all the junk runs and overnight frieght. They have one mechanic that is an *sshole to people. Ask him to do something and he says it's not his job. Some of his trucks are junk peterbilt that he bought used. If you like getting bent over a nice big shiny peterbilt this is the place to work for. Let me tell you a little something else about the company they are crooks and theives too.
They still have a truck and trailer at penn detroit in syracuse that a driver left there and it still sitting there and know one still hasn't pick it up yet. So what that tells about the company that they don't care where there equipment is at. They want you to fuel at the yard where the have no showers for the driver and i think that is cruel to us people. If i was an owner operator i would not work for this guy ether. If you want to loose every thing that you worked for all your life this is the place to work for and get bent over the peterbilt and take up the butt by management. They like to make up there own rules that aren't in the papers that you sign. So bewere what you are getting into before you go and work there. Ps they have a lot of money and there making off you so be careful.

I worked for Paul Marshall Produce, Inc. I found the Co. to be very fair. The trucks are the best. The pay was very nice, I had many weeks when I took home over 1500.00 Thats take home pay. A few I did better then 2000.00 The worse week I took home around 600.00. Every Co. will get a slow time every year. I left Paul for the one in a million great paying local job.
A word about Paul marshall. I needed cash fast, had a Furnace go out in my house, was talking with another driver about it. Paul must of over heard and took me in his office and gave me a check for 3500.00 and said how about 100.00 a week to pay it back.Thats the people you are dealing with at Paul Marshall Produce. I have been Driving for 26 years now, many driving jobs. If I ever had to go back over the road. Paul Marshall Produce would be the only place I would call!!!!
For all the Cry Baby drivers that say they don't make any money and the have to run over on there hours. GROW UP!!!! Most of you guys are late every place you go or run out of hrs so you can sit and eat or play games at the truck stop. If you don't get good runs it's because you are a LOOOOOOSER and when they can't count on you to get the job done they won't put you on anything long. I have MANY friends that still drive for Paul, most over 10 years. Wow, I wonder why they would stay if they could'nt make any money.
