Pauls Place Hotdogs Flea market on weekends racist wouldnt let me set up because i was black rocky point, North Carolina
My kids and I are african american and one saturday we decided to go sell some stuff at the local selling spot people sell at every weekend. So we packed up some stuff to sell only to get out there at 5am very few people there. We waited for the owner to get there to get a spot as all were permanant. By the time we sat around for hrs more n more people set up. She gets there tells me there are no more spaces. So i go inside get a breakfast sanwich made of rubber for my kids and myself. Sat there in my car eating as 4 other vendors asked to set up and was allowed to. So i went up to the new people and asked are these your permanant spaces they said no its my first time. So obviously she did not want us there becuase we where black. this is 2010 not 1960's and im tired of being stared at and talked about.
