Pay-Lo seemed like a reputable company until the van I rented broke down. I spent over 6 hours waiting with the vehicle, unloading and finally getting back home instead of being able to do what I had planned that day if it did not break down. They said that I was somehow responsible for the breakdown. They charged an "unload van fee". The cargo van was full. I am disabled and had to assist their mechanic in unloading everything. They did not provide another rental vehicle. Their mechanic offered to take me to another rental location as a courtesy but they charged me $50 for a "drop off charge". They should have offered a refund for the day it broke down, not add additional charges! They refused to refund the erroneous charges or credit me for the rental charge that day and said "read the contract." I wonder why they call themselves "Pay-Lo"?
