July 2014 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Titan from Ben at Performance. He was a really nice guy, assured me that the truck was in perfect shape. Showed me a car fax and assured me it had never had any damage.
January 2015, I went to trade in the Titan and was told my vechile had previous frame damage. They showed me an Autocheck that showed it had frame damage and that someone had purchased it from a salvage auction. It also showed it had been used as a rental truck. The Carfax Performance offered me was out of date.
I then contacted Ben at Performance about the situation, Aarron, the owner, took the phone from him and began speaking to me very harshly. He wouldn't let me talk. He said he did nothing wrong and that he "Did not have to tell me about the frame damage". I asked if he was in fact admitting to knowing and not disclosing this inforamtion, his reply was "Yes, because I didn't have to. It didn't change the title". He was very rude about it, offered no solutions to make it right.
In conclusion, I had to trade it in with another dealership and lost $10,000. I have tried to reach out to him again, but he will not return my calls or emails.
