Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On Friday, February 10, 2012, I went into the Permanent Access Inc (PAI) or Employment 1 because I called regarding an adverstisement I saw in the Indianapolis Star Newspaper.  I called the week before and I was informed of the $190 fee that was refundable over the phone and the fee was not refundable when I came into the office.

I proceeded and sat down with (Kevin) and he provided the example that a black female client had went to a job interview with the word "JUICY" on her buttocks area of her pants.  Then he informed not to go on interviews looking ghetto.   Of course Kevin said, " She did not get the job."  We continued to talk and I told him I have a PHD, a double Master's and a Bachelor's Degree and I have filled out over 200 applications.  I wanted to know if this company help you find gainful employment and Kevin said, " Yes, we do!"

That's when I was told compared to all of there other customers there was not competition when it came to me.  Carol then informed me that she had special connections at Wishard Health and she guaranteed me a position out of her mouth within a week.  I often downloaded copies of their job listing and quickly found out that their information was inaccurate.  When I would go on the actual job site it would be totally different from what PAI would post.  They would have me apply for jobs that I was not qualified for or had no experience in.

I was told to call the office to inform them of each position I apply for and I did. They began to become extremely mean and nasty towards me.  Basically, letting me know that I needed to stop bothering them.  I went into the office on February 25, 2012, they would not look me in my face nor speak. I provided the office with a listing of all of the positions and the responses I received from Carol regarding the procedures for applying for jobs.  They made it clear that they did not want to be bothered with me.  It has been over a month now, I have not recieved any responses via email or phone calls from any positions I applied for, now my rent is due, my phone is going off, food is low, and I took my last money to get help from this agency. It's a SCAM!

I am sorry you went through all that. A simple Internet search could have spared you this. I called about a job today (September 12, 2012), and it was PAI. She told me basically everything that I read in some of the reports here about the company. For example, she did not discuss the position that I called about, but only wanted to know about my experience, to which she replied that I was an excellent candidate and could easily be found a job. She told me to look up PAI on the BBB.org site, which I did, and discovered that the company has an A+ rating. After seeing that, I was not fully satisfied, so I put some search words in my search engine, basically the company name and typed, "good or bad?" I came up with all the reports here at ripoffreport.com. I ALWAYS go deep into any investigation on a company before I part with my money. I know also that you could have gotten your money back if you had asked to speak with a manager and then threatened that manager with your going to the BBB AND to the state's Attorney General. We have all made mistakes like this, so don't feel too badly about it. I have done things like this in my past; I learned from those mistakes and now know what to do to avoid making them again.
