the one whose negatively saying that betsy was drunk obviously use to work with this woman, and probably is the manager who tried being sexual towards her. get over yourself man. i work at a petsmart and trust me none of these managers are worth anyone's time. they are all idiots and obviously never managed anything in their pathetic littles lives. i say this because only an idiot would try and make people believe the fact that betsy buys alcohol for people? what! why would she her manager is 21 and you can buy alcohol yourself when your that age. if you did not know this,
all the managers at the petsmart business' could probably get away with murder.
i say this cause they all have a buddy system and as long as everyone follows it no one gets fired or transferred.
and another thing the raises at this company are useless...oh i know you did such a good job you get a 10 cent raise wow! what a slap in the face. 10cents. and the managers always claim oh i dont choose the raise amount oh im sure you don't considering the fact the computer makes the schedules right? bs! this company is a pure joke!
BETSY im proud of you for stepping up and quitting you deserve better than this crap of a work place no one in their right mind deserves this kind of treatment.
So i tip my hat to you dear.
i hope you live a better life working somewhere wonderful!
-yours truly

As someone who had the unfortunate experience to work with Betsy...I can assure everyone reading this that this woman is not remembering or processing what she saw/heard correctly. I will agree that the manager she describes as rude, crude, disgusting and unprofessional is not up to petsmart's standards. He is no longer with the company. But, what I will mention is that Betsy; attempting to buddy up with this guy would purchase him bottles of liquor as gifts and whatnot. It was weird and made us wonder if she maybe had a thing for him.
Betsy also had terrible people skills. She could not accept direction or criticism because she felt her way was the right way. Upon explanation of why the rules and policies are the way they are, she continued to challenge. Honestly, it's exhausting to have an employee come in who wants to challenge and change everything before she truly understands the position. Betsy did Towson a huge favor when she dramatically handed in her smock thinking they'd run after and try to convince her to stay. It avoided many customer complaints (cause I'm sure she would talk down to many pet parents) and lots of pets spending additional hours in the salon due to her time management issues.
I think my favorite part of this report is how she tries very hard to convince the readers that she is a feeble, grandmotherly victim. Anyone who worked with or near this woman would find it very, very entertaining. We all did.

I am so sorry to hear about your experience with Petsmart. I would contact your state agency like Labor & Industries. They should be able to help you or point you to the right agency. There are also many lawyers who will act on your behalf if they feel you have been treated unfairly. There are also low income foundations that help like Legal Aid. Good luck!

Betsy, unfortunately, by you handing in your smock, you technically walked out and quit. A transfer will not be in the works for you. Sometimes it takes the regional managers time to get things done. If you don't get anwers from them, then you call THEIR higher ups.
