Pick Up And Go Moving International Antoine Johnson SCAMs LIES and BS! They should be shut down for illegal acts. cornelius, North Carolina
Pick Up And Go Moving International is owned and operated by a scam artist named Antoine Johnson and his Wife Kim Johnson (Maddox). These people lie to customers and employees just to get a few dollars before they run into the dirt like the other companies this scam artist has ran in the ground.
If you are going to use these people (i won't call it a company) then you should be checked for mental illness. The thing they clam as insurance is not insurance. They will pay cash for some minor damage but anything major and you can forget that. They don't have a DOT number on file and never have. They will give you one if you ask but if you look it up it does not show up because it's not registered. They talk about corporate but there is no corporate it is Mr. and Mrs. Johnson that make all the calls. They put customers off by saying corporate will have to take care of it then never call them back to handle it.
They say no hidden cost yet they put stuff like boxes and packing materials on your invoice and then tell you they gave it to you for free. Same with the discounts and coupons, they say they are giving you the discounts but they are really just adding on what ever they tell you your discount is to the real bill and then knock it off and call it a discount. So really they aren't giving you any type of discount or coupon or free anything for that matter.
This is just a scam and they have no remorse at all. These scam artists are just out to take what they can until people realize whats up and they go under like every other business they have ran.
SCAM SCAM SCAM LIE LIE LIE One last thing they don't train any of the movers like they say. The training consists of a video and that's all. Their back ground checks are only local so they movers could have killed or robbed in other states and it would never show up (they just had a 2 time convict who was convicted of armed robbery working for them. He was in peoples homes and had opportunity to use credit cards...how safe do you feel now?) Same with the so called drug screens it happens one time then the guys are free to do what ever!
