Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I got a call from Pinnacle Executive Group, they said they reviewd my resume (I assume they got it on line) and said they had a job that I would fit (I'm a computer programmer) and would I come in for a interview. Sure !! I was asked to meet with a Richard Toomey at their Iselin office (they have 5, more later). I showed up filled out a application, and was introduced to Mr. Toomey, who said he was the President of the company.

He then proceded for the next 2 hours telling me why I needed his help Finding a job. He was good, smooth, said he lots of personal contacts and he could find me a job within 3-4 weeks. I was interested. Later at home, I did some research, checked out the BBB, Rippoff, no reports ! But I did find out some disturbing info, Toomey said they had been in business for 10 years, I found out they had only been around since Nov. 2002.

Their other 4 offices (Parsippany,Red Bank, Saddle Brook, and Princeton) have no listings ! I went up to Parsippany to check it out, NO CAREER OFFICES in the building !!

I went to my 2nd Interview (now knowing it was a sales meeting), and confronted Toomey with the information I got. He was very uncomfortible, said they were having problems with the phones and said I must have gone to wrong floor in the building !! He then asked me to wait and went out (as he went by me, he reaked of alcohol), and got a Alan Vilsalas, their head job counciler. Alan then told how great their program was and how he had helped many people like me over the last 4 years (remember they had only been around since Nov. 2002!) and I asked him about the other offices and what I found, he hemed and hawed and deferred to Toomey.

Needless to say, I did not sign up with Pinnacle Executive Group or fork over $6000 like they wanted. Deceptive luring in, lies right to my face, nonexistant offices, drunk employees...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....

Bogus Complaints Make Bad Business.

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, July 01, 2003

This comment presents a story that never happened. I have never ever introduced Alin Vasilas to any prospective client. The only time Alin meets a client is after a contract has been signed. As you will note the purported prospect never became a client. Many of my competitors have complaints from clients. They are very jealous of Pinnacles' complaint free reputation. The complaint from this prospect alleges that the company has only been in business for two years. The company was incorporated in 1993. At the time of this complaint we had arrangements with offices in 5 locations. Monthly, we paid rent to hold space available on an as needed basis. It is obvious to me that this complaint emanated from a jealous competitor or a disgruntled ex-employee. Pinnacles' clients are well served by our excellent program. If this story had any basis in fact, we would be happy to discuss the matter with Steve. However, since there is no Steve, this is impossible. As to comments about luncheon habits, this obviously doesn't pass the laugh test.

Maybe its time the government verified this site

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, July 01, 2003

I can not say as to how dissapointed I am in a service that supposedly allows anyone to post an unverified message about any business, and makes no attempt to verify and validate the supposed complaint. This is how rip-off report operates, it allows anyone to post errors and misleading comments without verification of the cause, or if it even happened. Maybe its time the government verified this site for allowing misinterpretation and accusations of events that sould just as easily be made up by any one that has a grudge or could be an ex-employee. To further insult the people who's business may be affected by individuals who don't understand how this site can work for or against them, the owners of this site will only allow rebuttals from employees or ex-employees for a fee $20/per rebuttal. Suggestion: verify the source and complaint, and allow business to post for free as you allow the alleged complaint. I have never indicated to anyone that I have provided this service to people for 4 years, and yes the program works very well for people that abide by it. Furthermore, the individual that has made these erroneous and untrue comments needs to learn how to properly spell before attempting to post such rubbish, it may help them with their job searching.
