I subscribed to the Millionaire Entourage on 4/23/09 and they charged my card $195.00. They have a seven day intro course that you can only progress one day at a time. At the end of the 7th day they are to send the actual course and they charged my card their $97.00 monthly fee. On May 1, 2009 I received an email with the tracking number for my shipment via USPS. I noticed that it had someone else's name as the on it but it didn't have an address so I thought maybe there was just a mistake on the name and would see it it would arrived. I began tracking it on the USPS site and on May 7, 2009 it said that it had delivered that morning in Maryland. I am in Phoenix, AZ. So on that day May 7, 2009, I called them at 800-216-7461 and told them to cancel and refund the charges because I felt that if they couldn't even send my package out on time and then to send me the email with the tracking number for someone else's shipment, then I didn't want anything to do with them. The person that I spoke with said she would put in my cancellation but that I should send an email stating my cancellation to:
[email protected]. I sent the email as requested and received an email back confirming my cancellation. I also emphatically stated in the email that they were not to suddenly send out the package causing further delay on my refund. The next day, May 8, I received an email that my package was shipped the morning of May 7, and that I would have to wait for it to arrive and then return it before my refund would be issued. They also sent another USPS tracking number. The package arrived on May 11. The US Post Mark on the package was May 8. They claimed they had sent it on the morning of May 7. I asked the Post Office if there was anyway that a Priority Mail package shipped on the morning of May 7 could have a Post Mark of May 8, and they said definitely not possible.
SO, after I cancelled on May 7, and specifically told them NOT to suddenly send out the package, they went ahead and sent it anyway. I had sent numerous emails at this point and they were all responded to by a Pat M. Monroe stating that nothing would be done until they received the package back. She also stated in an email that my refund would be issued THE DAY that they received the package back. They received the package back by USPS Priority Mail w/Delivery confirmation at 10:35am on Friday, May 15.
It is now May 18, at 5:00pm PST and I have sent over 50 emails asking where my redund is and no response. I have called their 800 number and it is just an answering service that say they can't transfer my call to Pat Monroe but they will send her and email.
The facts at this point are:
They initially sent me an email tracking number for someone else's package.
When I called and cancelled on May 7, and specifically told them not to send the package, they went ahead and sent it, lying about when it shipped. (I have to wonder that if I hadn't called and cancelled would a package have even been shipped?)
They sent an email stating that the refund would be issued the day that they received the package back.
They received the package back on May 15 and still no refund and no response at all to numerous emails and phone calls.
I am have copies of EVERYTHING and documentation of ALL emails to and from. I am presenting these to the bank to have the charges reversed and to the US Post Office for Investigation of Mail Fraud as they are shipping by US Mail. (This is exactly the reason why most scam companies ship by FedEx or UPS so they don't fall into the jurisdiction of the USPS).
