This is supposedly an offer for employment from Angela Dwight, Plimsoll Inc. They ask for resume/credentials, bank info, then indicate they will send money to purchase office equipment and software, as a test of your integrity and ability to deal with money. They also indicate they will send a Dell computer, which you also have to pay for with these funds.

I have just had a very extensive IM chat, whereby, rather than explaining why I need to purchase these items, instead of the company sending them, the only conversation they were willing to engage in was my credit card and banking info.

The only thing I could find re this company is legitimate businesses that carry the Plimsoll name, so I believe they are using legitimate companies as a front.

I have been through this before with my daughter, company name I dont remember. She received the funds, requested the bank hold the check for 2 weeks to make sure it cleared, which they did, she then spent the funds as directed, and about a month later was informed by the bank that the funds were fraudulent. She was then held responsible for the money she withdrew.

I have just received another offer of employment from James Moore, Komass Tee Limited, asking the exact same questions, and the exact same promise of funds to be deposited to purchase office equipment and software.

I also received another one from Joyce Steven, Global Fleet Limited. Again, exactly the same.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sun, July 12, 2009

I applied to a job on craigslist and was contacted by "data home" [email protected] that they would like to do an online interview via Yahoo messenger. So I added the address hr.plimsolldesk to my yahoo messenger and talked to a Sophia Moore. It all sounded very promising and they were very professional with their interview questions. She asked me if I wanted to be paid via direct deposit or check. Well of course I said check. She said I would receive a check in the mail and as soon as I get that I should purchase the required software and equipment for the mini office. I can take $150 out for myself as sign up bonus and western union the rest back to them. I then would start the job making $17 a hour and I would have to report online at 9am each day. So after that I googled them and found this report. THANK YOU!!!! I contacted Mrs Moore via Yahoo, she was still online, and told her I did not want the Job and sent her this link. Needless to say she did not respond to my request. If they send a check it will go in the shredder.
