Powell Quality Dry Cleaning Stay Away from POWELL QUALITY DRY CLEANING - damaged my belongings, rotten attitude, no reimbursement. San Antonio Texas
Brought them $168 Neiman Marcus silk/cotton shirt for dry cleaning. Shirt bled as if laundered. Manager said not their fault, "these things happen"!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I brought them a brand new, never worn, designer silk/cotton shirt from Neman Marcus for dry cleaning. In very prominent lettering on the shirt collar a label stated, "DRY CLEAN ONLY". When I picked up the shirt 2 days letter it had bled horribly - as if it had been laundered instead. When I asked the clerk why there was a huge red smudge on the white collar she was completely clueless and suggested I return to the store and "get your money back". (!!) When I asked to speak with the Manager on the phone he hemmed and hawed that "Oh well, these things happen" and "No, we will not reimburse you." He frankly couldn't have cared less that my new shirt had been completely damaged. Which is why I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and have filed a suit in Small Claims Court.
