Premier Markert Research; PMR Promotes themselves as legitimate business but in the end, I was taken for $980 Sydney Nova Scotia
Company contacted me by indicating they found my resume on Michigan Talent Bank; asked me to click on site and fill in only my name, address and email address; then approximately 7 days later sent me a packet via the U.S. Mail.
I held onto the package for about 2 weeks, then called the phone number indicating I probably could not be a mystery shopper since I felt the only possible way I could cash the check to purchase the moneygram, would be if I had funds available in my bank account. Never received an answer back from them.
After about a month's time from receipt of the packet, I went to my local bank, cashed the check and placed about $100 in my account, thinking this was my profit. I went ahead and purchased the moneygram at my local Walmart; went home and called in the moneygram confirmation number; tried to email the information and found after 3 tries the email address was not valid. I went to my local library and faxed the relevant survey sheet and the upcoming week's work sheet.
Approxmately 5 days later, I checked my bank account and found my account had been stripped of the $980 since the check was counterfeit.
The day after I faxed the relevant sheets, a federal express package was delivered to my neighbor by mistake and was brought to me. Inside was another letter and 3 checks in the amount of $980 each and the same instructions to cash checks, purchase 3 moneygrams, at 3 locations. I, of course, did nothing at this point, as I was waiting to see if the first check had cleared which of course it did not.
