First of all, directly on the website, it states that they answer all calls LIVE which is a blatant LIE. They screen the calls first to make sure you're not going to waste their time. They even tell you on the message, that if you don't leave them a detailed message, they won't call you back. It also states that they'll call you back in 5 minutes or less, which was also FALSE!
When I did finally recieve a call from this company, (I didn't even get his name) the guy that contacted me jumped right into it without so much as a "hi, my name is... "how are you". He then proceeded to ask me questions without letting me finish not one sentence.
The website says $100 and up is the price of the eviction "help". The first price this guy quoted me was $3,995! He was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I told him when my lockout date was, he said "wonderful"! I couldn't tell if he was being a smart-a** or he was really serious (I don't know which is worse). He then proceeded to become pushy and tell me that people that don't use his services usually call him up crying. When I told him that I couldn't afford that price he just hung up on me!
I do NOT recommend that anyone use this company. It is clear that they only want your money. The price is ridiculous. It should be obvious that if someone is seeking help with an eviction (mostly due to non-payment) they would not be able to afford nearly $4000 just to pay for some help that isn't even guaranteed (which is also what he told me).

On all these complaints none of them every gave this company any Money for Any Services! It seems that these two complaints just wanted to pick the brains and get free information from this Company. The people don't pay their rent and they don't want to Pay anybody for any service.
PreventEviction.com Hasn't Hurt anybody of the people complaining.I guess when they can't get Free Info they come on here and try to discredit a Great Company that has been helping Renters for many decades.
There are other people who are in the same business and sometimes they have their friends come on this site to swade clients away so they will go to their place for help.
So why would anyone be upset if nobody took their money? It just seems weird.I have talked to these folks and have used them in the past and they Saved My Butt.Just wanted to put my two cents into the mix.
Bottom line is these peopls standby their word 100%..........

Preventeviction.com is a misleading, misrepresenting operation preying on truly desperate people. Not all people are looking for a free ride to avoid paying rent. Some people are true victims of landlord negligence and or indifference to repair and may become injured in their units as a result. These of people may suffer loss of income and medically incapacitated for a period of time. Why should a disconsolate landlord have it both ways?
Know your facts first. First, there are services available to you in your State of Residency. In addition, the bar association in your state of residency has non-profit lawyers who are familiar with your States Laws, then some outfit like reventeviction.com from points unknown. A little bit of research will go a long way seeking the proper legal help and it won’t cost you a dime. Ask yourself this question, “how can mysterious outfit in points west represent you in points east, south or north? In a recent experience, I found this company to be rude, abrasive never spending anytime to learn the facts. Their phone calls and email responses were flip to say the least. Also be very leery of these so-called positive reviews. The United States Attorney General has just stated prosecuting companies that hire foreign companies in the Philippines and others to write positive reviews. If you check the Better Business Bureau and consumer fraud division in your respected State of Residency you will many many complaints involving preventevistion.com. It’s just a matter of time before the group investigated, if not already is formally charged with crimes. Do not give preventeviction.com your credit card number or you’ll become their ATM.

I read the complaint but this was truly not the experience I had with Prevent Eviction. Just because the guy did not answer the phone live is no reason to get bent out of shape. When I called he was juggling other calls too and he asked if he could call me back in 10 minutes, which he did...Thank God!
It's gotta be a tough job and he helped me out of a real jam at a time when I really needed a hand. It was a desparate time for me like it always is when you get locked out. I was charged 395.00. Perhaps there was a communication error there? Sometimes the messenger gets blamed...but this guy is a good egg.

You want this company to prevent your eviction...right? You haven't paid your rent and are trying to hang on as long as you can and scam your rental company...also right? It's too bad they didn't take some money from YOU and then scam YOU.
The person/company you rent from has bills including loan payments and taxes to pay and you want to take advantage and prolong your stay...how very thoughtful of you.
No sympathy here.
