Incidentals is VERY understandable, but PARKING is not an incidental. PARKING is a necessity in order to stay somewhere.
- Yes Parking is an Incidental. as not everyone who stays at a hotel has a car. I have never seen a Hotel with a policy that says.."no car..no room". That would be like saying that the Internet should be free because laptop computers and smart phones are a necessity when traveling.
Now, should Priceline give you options to do things such as deselect hotels with certain fees..sure why not. But if they don't that is not a RipOff. Of course you could figure that you are going to get hit with various extra incidentals and change your bid(lower) accordingly.
As to your actual "complaint" against Priceline. Are they the one's charging you for parking. NO...the Hotel is. And based on your post it sounds like you think that since parking in your word is a necessity for traveling that it should be included in the room rate. So where is your RipOff report on the Hotel for charging for parking?
