Pro Images International, Model Talent PPI modeling scam Ripoff Riverdale Georgia
In January 2004, my husband and I responded to an ad run in the local newspaper about modeling (for our son). Pro Images International was the agency holding the seminar at at local hotel. We met with a husband and wife team, I am unsure of the husband's name but the wife's name is Charlotte Olsen.
Many people attended this seminar (about 75) but only a few were selected for the offer. Mrs. Olsen had a list of clients such as Nike, Guess, Hilfiger and so on of companys whom they have paired their models with and claimed to have gotten jobs. She even claimed that one of the guys on a Survivor series was one of their clients (Rob, I beleive).
My son did as they asked, he walked for them, showed them his hands, smiled for them, posed for them and anything else they asked and then they photographed him.
We signed a contract for a year that he was guaranteed 4 modeling assignment jobs within a year of his picture being published in their modeling magazine. The cost, $450.00. We paid $150.00 and then 2 more installments of $150.00. We have receipts for all payments and all contracts and paperwork we have been given.
Once his picture was published in their magazine, his contract began. This was in June 2004. We have not so much as received a phone call from them or any correspondence from them whatsoever. The contract is now up and I am out $450.00.
