production development corp phone book delivery is a rip-off! montery, California
product development corp delivers phone books for Dex. They will come to your town and put up a notice at the grocery store advertising for workers. You go to a trailer and pick up about 856 phone books and a list of addresses, and a gps unit. you spend anywhere from one day to a week deliverering the books. then you report back to john and he rakes you over the coals telling you you did not complete the route because you did not find 3 addresses out of 800. Finally he says he wants you to be paid but it is up to corporate. so he sends in the information and you are suspose to get a check in one and 1/2 weeks. But the check does not come!!! So you start calling the corporate headquarters and of course they never heard of you. they send you to a phone number in Colorado. they send you to a number in Minnesota. they send you to a number in California and on and on and on. Still no money. What a sweet racket Dex gets the phone books out and never pay any one and you can call till the cows come home and never see a real person or any real money. I know this is true because it happened to me in jute 2011.

after calling six different people in six different states I received a check for 100.40 for two peoples work for 17 hours of delivering phone books. People in Bangladesh make more!
