About (2) weeks ago my partner took her car to Professional Automotive in Austin, Texas to have a brake problem looked at. The "mechanic", "Miguel" told her since her car was pulling to the left and toward on coming traffic, that she had a problem wint the brake caliper piston assembly. "Miguel" kept her car for about a month, charged her for the repair, told her the car was repaired and she paid for the repair. When she started driving her car it started doing the same thing again, try pushing on the brake pedal and the car pulled toward on coming traffic! My partner decided to not trust taking her car back to this person so she went to a professional brake repaire shop who specialize in auto braking systems. The owner took a look at her car and told her "nothing has been done to either brake caliper"! What was wrong was the autuator or master cylinder was not supplying brake fluid to the right side of the braking system! Also, this same "mechanic", "Miguel", told her that the elcetric window motor was bad and needed to be replaced. I tild him to contact a company I knew to be honest for a good price on a motor for the electric window. He stated that the motor they sent was "defective" and told us he ordered another one and it was also defective! I called and talked to the owner and he told me he had never heard of "Moguel" or "Professional Automotive" and that "Moguel" had never ordered anything from them! What ever you do, do not do business with this auto repair shop if you live in the Austin, Texas, area! This could have caused my partner to have a wreck with on coming traffic. We will file a complaint with the states attorney, BBB, and file a law suit ASAP. All of the above complaint can and will be verified by the "hones" shop that re-did the work. As for the window motor, it was never bad, it was a connection problem all along and the "honest" mechanic reconnected the wiring and it's working very well. Again, "beware" of Professional Automotive, in Aystin, Texas. A rip off for sure!!
