Do not buy a car from CBF motorsAKA Auto auction liquidators 216 N military trial in WPB Florida.I'm sure they reincorporated under this new name due to complaints.from the second day I drove my 2004 Silverado off their lot it had issues,the last one being a tap in the motor that still exits when cold.I never complained and just kept paying off This truck.5 months after I bought it I was called by my step daughter to inform me my truck was towed out of the yard with the hood still open.(I was going to get a battery that died,what a suprise,sold me a truck with a 5 year old battery).since I was a week ahead of scheduale on my payments I was confused.I called Prospect finance company and they confirmed I was in good standings and they insisted it wasnt them.I called 911 and 5 minutes into the call they informed me it was repoed. I called the company back and they said it was a mistake call the dealer,went to dealer they said Prospect told them I was late,called prospect back they said talk to the dealer.You see,CBF motors owns Prospect,prospect admitted it was a mistake,CBF or auto auction liquidators,never took any blame.I lost a day of work and do not trust them not to do it again.Im not sure what kind of scam they have going but you dont repo a car when the payments are a week ahead of scheduale.this may even be illegal im looking into it.I have since today gone and and removed all my stuff from truck and will not take it back,the hood is prob damaged among other things.they have refused to pay me back the money I have into the vehicle and wont assure me of no bad marks on my credit when the repo was their fault.stay far away from this place,the .anager Mario, and their fradulent loan company,nothing but trouble.they are right behind airport on Military across from Port motors (which is a great dealer by the way,just bought a car from them....top notch) taking CBF and Prospect to court but I wanted to make sure nobody else gets ripped of in the meantime.buyer beware!!!
