Pay attention to this scam. The legit company is qams.com they are registered with the BBB. How to tell if its a scam. First if you bought a phone card from walmart, Kmart or Sears and you get the letter in the mail Its a scam Qams will not send a prepaid transaction. second pay close attention to the website at the bottom of the letter qamms.com this is the mirrored site it looks like the real site qams.com the only difference is qams.com is showing a statement " SHOPPER WARNING - MONEY ORDERS OR CHECK CASHING is NOT THIS Company and is a SCAM! " Third the Phone # listed is in canada but where they want you to send the money is in london UK. The FBI warns there is nothing they can do They also claim if the money is to be sent to a address in the USA it still can be picked up in other countries. AND YOU ARE OUT OF THAT MONEY ! Thank god we did not western union that money. and all I am out is what was spent at walmart and Sears Which was Items that we could have used anyway.. Becareful watch those letters We checked them out and was fooled by the website.
