Complaint Review: Quik Blinds - Alta Loma California

Be careful if you buy from Quik Blinds / BlindZone. Both compnaies owned by Alonzo Williams who has no contractors license & will rip you off. I bought some shutters from one of his reps Andy and it took over 9 weeks to get my shutters installed. I was promised 3 weeks. Factory problems I was told! WATCH OUT!!

Looks like Quik Blinds will resort to anything to make a sale. Post how you "rescued" non-existent customers. Would love to see their quality on a two-week shutter. Or did they "mislead" to get the sale?

Quik Blinds of Rancho Cucamonga has stepped-up to help us resolve the issue with the company that use to be named Shoreline. It's good that we went through them for our shutters. We'll let you all know how it turns out when the smoke clears.

I placed an order with Cindy Margott in September. The business she represented was BLIND & SHUTTER PRO'S. The contracted amount agreed to was $5000 for Bass Wood shutters. I paid a $2500 deposit and was told my shutters would be installed between 4 and 6 weeks. My deposit was paid in late August and the shutters still have been installed. I called the number for BLIND & SHUTTERS PRO'S but no one would answer or returns calls from messages left on the answering service. I had become concerned about the company Cindy represented and looked for a business listing but could not find BLIND & SHUTTER PRO'S. But when I did search on the internet using Cindy Margott's name, I found Ripp-Off Report. I found in one of the responses a list of business names that said Cindy Marott was an owner of Shoreline Shutters. I called the number to Shoreline Shutters and the people who answered the phone would tell me my order would be here in two weeks but when two weeks came, it would be another two weeks. I left lots of messages for Cindy Margott but she did not return my call. Now over the last week I have called Shoreline Shutters and Blind & Shutter Pro's and there does not seem to be a way to leave a message on a system. The phone number just rings and rings. I'm really worried. I have started to read all the complaints about Shoreline Shutters here. I am confused about what I am reading. There were people who said they ordered shutters from another company and had been stolen from. There was another person, the same person who gave all those business names, who said he lost his business because of Shoreline Shutters taking money for orders but those orders never came. The people saying they did not get their deposits or their orders said they were given many delivery dates that would change over and over again. That's what is happening to me too. I don't understand. Joe said a new business Broadway USA was opened. Does that mean I call this company to try to find my shutters? Is there a phone number I can call to talk with Cindy Margott. I am scared I will not get me money or the shutters after all I read here on Ripp-Off Report. Is the person who said he lost his business and was lied to by Shoreline Shutters and that was why his clients did not get their orders a part of Shoreline Shutters or Broadway USA or the other companies. Can anyone tell me anything that might help me understand all the other things I have read and if there might be anything I can do to get my money back. I paid with a check. I hope someone can help me.
