Larrilyn, I worked at this place for 3 months and it is a huge RIP OFF. We have to read a script that we learn pretty much by heart, after the first week. We also have to learn the rebuttals, there is an answer for everything and if things are getting too hairy they put someone else on the line. They will do what ever they can to make a sale, positions & wages are at stake, there is a huge turn over. Some people are lucky to last 1 week. You are constantly threatened with being fired if you don't make a certain amount of sales in a week. If I was you, I would write a letter to the company with copies to all the destinations clearly stating that you are cancelling. Also immediately phone your credit card company & cancel the payment to Ramada, if you have to pay a penalty it is worth it in the long run. You do not have to give any reason as to why you are cancelling and even if you do, they will pull all the punches, to try and talk you out of cancelling. You need to be forward, clear and make sure you say NO to whatever they put to you. Let me tell you once you cancel your credit card payment you will get phone calls from the sales rep, possibly a supervisor and a verifier. Believe me they will be on the verge of harrassement. If you have an answer machine, vet your calls for at least one week if not two after you cancel, or if someone else picks up and you get on the phone and find it's Ramada just hang up. GOOD LUCK!!! I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD VACATION IN THE END.
