We stayed at QUALITY INN BEACH FRONT RESORT in Pompano Beach, had a 3 night cruise aboard the CARNIVAL FACSINATION, and then stayed at AMERIHOST RESORT - MAINGATE in Orlando. The hotel accomodations were awful with filth and mold. THANK GOODNESS FOR THE CRUISE -- IT WAS WONDERFUL!!

SO HOW DID WE GET MONEY BACK AFTER VACATIONING????

Before we left, we made notes of everyone we spoke to and what was said. Once in Florida, we took pictures of everything...mold, dirty areas, etc.

When we did get home, we put together a formal demand letter for our refund. Now, we were trying to be fair, so we demanded the amount of our hotel accomodations back, with taxes. We figured that out to be the full amount that we were charged during telephone conversations,plus hotel taxes.

We got a refund of everything we demanded less the taxes!!

We addressed letter to the President of Ramada; Mr. Daniel Lambert, then to each of the sales agents we booked our trip through, or spoke with. We also sent copies to the FLORIDA DIVSION OF CONSUMER SERVICES, FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL, FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION and UNITED STATES POST SERVICES and CANADIAN POSTAL SERVICES.

We used information they sent us in their own brochure about the accomodations, and sent saveral pictures of the accomodations we were subjected to. We kept the letter professional, and did not dwell on small details, just the facts!! This package was fraudulent, and misrepresented.
