Mike Jones, is the show producer of Rap A Thon Television. The show airs on My 12 Fox in Charlotte, NC and also comes on Fox in Columbia, SC. Mike Jones is suppose to be a civil rights leader that was associated with the Walter Scott case. He is portrayed as a influential community leader and businessman in Columbia,SC. He has been seen alongside Revrend Jesse Jackson and Anderson Cooper in Charleston, SC. He even made a song called "Change for my people" a song based around police brutality, but he has been scamming the African American community by taking their money and promising to deliver services, but has breached contracts and given false hopes of helping entrepreneurs with their business. His civil and criminal record is long as well as the amount of lawsuits against him. Majority of the victims have won civil lawsuits in small claims court, but have not received their refund. One of the many victims won her civil case 2 years ago against Mike Jones, but has yet to receive her refund. I am the latest victim Mike Jones has scammed by breach of contract and he also gave a false name on the contract, James Jones. Mike Jones portrayed to be a financial advisor and told me that he did financial services as a side business to help other entrepreneurs to start their own business, he elaborated on how he was employed by Wells Fargo and resigned in 2008. He stated that he resigned to start his own business, but continued to offer credit repair and loan services to individuals. I paid Mike Jones (James Jones) $2,400 for credit repair and loan services. Mike Jones promised to provide credit repair and loan services within 15-45 days. That was March 23, 2016 it is now May 24, 2016. Two months have passed and I still haven't received my refund or loan and credit repair services. I told Mike Jones that I no longer wished to do business with him and that I would like my full refund. Mike, has been avoiding my texts and calls and whenever we communicate he is brief and tells me that he is in the middle of a recording session and never returns my calls or texts. He has even threatened me with lawyers, and he is the scam artist in this scenario. I would like to warn other consumers not to do business with Mike Jones. He is a predator and scam consumers for money . I would like to receive a full refund as well as the other victims that have been scammed.

Mike has definitely got over on a lot of people and unfortunately I fell victim to him as well. But some sort of justice has to be done. I have a laundry list of things he has offered and services he promised to deliver. I am definitely not going down because of his illegal financial practices. However I am concerned as to how properly file a police report at the appropriate department. How did you all proceed?

I posted a complaint back in June or July. How did you get this taken care of because I'm going through the process of litigation as we speak? I'm glad to know of the proper PD department to go to. Please let me now if you have any additional information

This is a update. Mike Jones finally paid the full amount he owed me. Since I posted there has been others that reached out to me with the same story. I too hope that he gives everyone their refund like he refunded me. It took a long process, but as of today August 17, 2016 he has paid the full balance of $2,400 that he owed me.

Hello i was a victim from Mike Jones and Dj Hdubb as well. They were supposed to do some music services for me and got 1500 from me and i have filed a police report and found other people who have been a victim too. I would file a police report at Columbia Police Dept and put what happened to you. Also i know i cant put my email in here but i want to contact you cause my goal is for everyone to get their money back.
