Reality Ranch Military Camp, Jeremy Denton, Ginger Denton Military Camp Investigation - FRAUD ALERT! Fort Thomas Arizona
I found this military summer camp on the internet, and checked them out with the Better Business Bureau, and the State of Arizona Commerce Dept. I talked to both Mr. Jeremy Denton and Mrs. Ginger Denton. It seemed like exactly what my son needed...discipline, integrity, responsibility.
I enrolled him online and sent them a check for $3800. I bought non-refundable plane tickets ($225), and special shoes that were required by the camp($50). Just 3 days before he was to leave for the camp, Mr. Jeremy Denton called and said the camp was canceled due to a storm that ruined the camps equipment. He said a refund would be sent for the tuition. An email was also sent stating that a refund would be issued. No refund was ever sent.
I have called numerous times, sent emails, and have sent certified letters. No response to any of them. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona District Attorneys office. The D.A.'s office has tried to contact Mr. Jeremy Denton, and he does not respond to them either.
The Eastern Arizona Courier has wrote articles on the camp titled "Military Camp Investigated" (July 24, 2007) and "Problems Continue to Plague Military Summer Camp" (July 29, 2007). These articles talk about physical abuse allegations and background checks not done on employees.
In doing my own investigating, I have found that Mr. Jeremy Denton is a realtor for Signature Realty Group in Arizona (jeremynegotiates.com). He also has a CPR, First Aid and Safety business that he runs called RRMC Training.
This place that boasts about responsibility and integrity, but they are definitely lacking in both these traits.
