College student pays $2,600 deposit to hold an apartment lease by Realty Pros of Austin. Realty Pros of Austin rents the apartment to another client and decides to keep the $2,600 deposit. After multiple calls, attorney letters and time, Realty Pros of Austin has decided to refund 1/2 of the deposit. Or so they say. We still have not seen the funds. I would avoid this real estate firm or at lease use an approved escrow agent before giving them any money.
