I had paid $1.00 to view thier web site for one week and did not realize that they would automatically sign me up for a membership costing $39.80 a month. After three months I received an overdraft statement from my bank.

I am religous with my checkbook and called the bank to find out what was going on. With the help of the bank I was able to get the contact information for this company. They did not send any statements or emails saying money was being deducted from my account, I had no idea.

Once I contacted this company the man I spoke to told me I was stupid and that I could go online to cancel my account and print off their refund application. On the application it states that it would take 4-6 weeks.

During the 8th week I emailed them about the status of my refund they wanted to give me $39.80 and three months "free" to use their site. They have taken $119.40 out of my account with out my knowledge and cost me $30.00 overdraft fee.

This company intentionaly mispresents itself and then makes the refund process so difficult that some would probably just cost their losses.

I am so thankful for Ripoff Report,I see there are other victims besides me. This is such a sad situation. Homes and equity are being stolen from so many individuals,This also makes it difficult for any honest investor who really does
a lease buy back legitimately, you are afraid to trust anyone.

Take Sadee's advice, tell your lender the truth, loss of job, death in family our new administration and President elect are really helping individuals facing foreclosure.

I believed Demarco, I was told not to worry about the rent because equity was being set aside for illness, unexpected emergencies but it never pans out.
The rent is so high that the meager cash out does not even cover the rent for a year and it is set up this way so you default,they get your equity,your house and they get the cash out they gave you because they charged such exorbitant rent.

This company had refunded my money after contacting this web site and the better business bureau.  They also had all of my information, in their response they said they did not.  And as you see it only took them over a year to make a response!  I really feel like I am being slammed for calling them out!

I'd like to begin by saying our terms of service clearly state that our service has a monthly fee. We offer a FREE trial for users to have an opportunity to explore the site for a week and make up their mind as to whether they want this monthly service.

Since Christina did not offer more than her first name and City/State, it took me some time to go through all the members named Christina, from KY, who've ever signed up for our site. However, I was able to locate this customer's file.

According to our records, the customer joined on July 23, 2008.
Months later, the customer requested a refund.
After extensive review, a FULL refund for $119.40 was authorized and performed on December 10, 2008.
