It was toward the end of the school year, I got a voicemail and email from "RZA" and they told me they wanted to interview me. They found me through my university's website and being a marketing major I was thrilled of have that opportunity. I called and talked to a woman and set up an interview. (I'd like to note that they never referred to themselves as "Red Zone Advertising" in their phone calls and emails, it was always "RZA".) This would eventually be the last time I would have contact with them. After I talked with them I looked up the company's website, but was disappointed and felt uneasy with the lack of detail in describing all their big name "clients". On the day of the interview I showed up 15 minutes early and was well prepared. However, I started to worry when I saw the dilapidated building in which their office was located. I got even more worried when I couldn't see into the office because there was dark paper taped to the inside of the windows and a piece of paper taped to the outside of the door reading "Red Zone Advertising" in poorly designed WordArt. On top of that, the door was locked and it looked like the lights were off inside. I thought maybe they were still out to lunch and waited outside the office. Eventually, I met another kid in the hallway who was my age and was waiting to interview with Red Zone Advertising as well. We started to talk and he said he had been worrying about the interview for the same reasons I had been worrying about it. All of these factors added up to make me feel less than confident in the interivew I THOUGHT was about to take place. Low and behold, the kid I met and myself found ourselves waiting 10 minutes past our scheduled interview time. We had never encountered anything like this and decided it must be a mistake so we waited. It was finally around 30 minutes past our interview time and we decided no one was here and it didn't look like anyone was showing up so we both left. I got in my car and called Red Zone Advertising and got no answer, I tried again 15 minutes later and left a message saying I wasn't sure if there was a misunderstanding, but I'd be more than willing to reschedule the interview for a more convienent time. I never heard from them again. My opinion is be sure to research the companies before you interview with them, I was very displeased in the lack of professionalism Red Zone Advertising showed and from my experience I would urge others to stay away from them because I've heard nothing but bad things about them. From my personal experience I can say I would not trust them.

Red Zone is a professional, and respected company. We have a 2 to 3 year waiting list of clients who want our services. We handle accounts for every major league baseball team, except the Twins. All NHL hockey teams and many other sports companies. Home Depot, Direct TV, Sears, Subway & many other major companies employ our services. The New York Yankees George Steinbrenner employed our services - He was so happy with our work... He wrote a 6 page write up on us in the New york Times. This is all fact and is easily checkable. This gentlemens report is very far out in left field. And I can say whole heartedly - Red Zone is a great place to work and we offer our clients top notch marketing & advertising. Warm regards,
