" Bought a kayak there, and it should have lasted a long time. But it was a substandard piece of crap and is already ruined. "
How long is a long time? What was the manufacturer's warranty on the Kayak?
" The managers claimed it was abuse, when in fact it was poorly constructed kayak. "
Obviously there is a difference of opinion. What did the kayak manufacturer say?
" Well, if you guarantee something for 100% it should at least last 10 years. "
Uh oh. I'm beginning to suspect that your cognitive skills are impaired. Your idea of what a 100% guarantee is, does not jibe with any guarantee I've encountered in the real world.
" These shirts and pants maybe lasted 2-5 years. They are ruined, and they do not honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee. "
Now you have removed all doubt about my suspicion. In what universe do you return clothing to a retail store 2 - 5 years after the purchase? If you seriously believe that everything you buy at REI should be returnable for 10 years, you are not just an idiot, you are also a nuisance and they should go through with banning you from their stores.

Right now it appears that you are trying to return clothes 2-5 YEARS after you bought them, which if that is the case I wouldn't blame them for not only threatening you with a No Trespass order, but actually having one issued.
So just to be very clear and everyone is understanding your issue, can you list out the items you tried to return and specifically how long you had them before you attempted to do the return.
