RELIABLE HEATING & AIR SERVICE MAN LIED ABOUT REPAIR. SAID UNIT WOULD LAST 1-2 MORE YEARS. IT LASTED A MONTH. MARIETTA Georgia
On May 29, 2009 Reliable A/C sent a repair man to fix my home a/c unit. He said it had leaked all the freon out. I asked what should we do. He replied, refill the freon. I asked if the leak could be fixed, he said too hard to do. Easier to replace complete unit for over $2K. He suggested just to refill the lost freon. I asked him how long that fix would last. He told me, and I quote:
"AT LEAST ONE YEAR, MAYBE TWO". I lasted just over a month! I have called the company and left 4 phone messages. The repair cost me $235.00 for 3 lbs. of freon and it is again, not working. The repair service man was named WAYNE. I paid in cash, but when I got my receipt, there is a printed statement on the bottom of the receipt stating that there is no warranty for freon leaks. I wasn't told that BEFORE he refilled the unit. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THAT THE REFILL WOULD LAST 1-2 YEARS. HE LIED. And now, no one has called me back. Before your use Reliable Heating & Air, I suggest you get a second opinion first.
