Rent And Own Listings.com rent-to-ownhomelistings.com rentandownlistings.com I replied to ad, in hopes of actually seeing the properties they have to sell, via rent to own plan, but they are just selling credit repair service only. Daytona Beach Florida
Hi, I went on craigslist to find an apartment to rent, and I happened to notice a few ads that boasted you could rent to own a home from them, for as low as $500.00 and $600.00 per month. That caught my eye, as that was about what I was hoping I could rent one for, so I wanted to see what the actual properties themselves looked like, and maybe even a listing, showing pictures, with locations and prices and all that good stuff.
But the way the website is set up, they wont let you look at any houses at all... It will tell you that "FIRST we need to make sure your credit score is good... and that takes you to an application that costs a one dollar processing fee on your credit card.. They never allow you to see any houses, or provide you with contact info for that either..
And after I declined to offer my credit card info, that transaction and all that info should have been DEAD.. But yet, I got at least 3 phone calls this morning from that company, all sales pitches designed to get me to sign up for some credit repair service. That should not have happened, yet it did. My confidential information from that application was used to contact me, after I had KILLED that transaction in disgust. When I called the number back, they had my name on hand and answered me by it immediately.
Here's another phone number I got a call from:
561-257-0865 = "Go Rent to Own" was the name of another company, or maybe a branch or alias of Rent and Own Listings. They all the same, just want to sign you up for credit repair. They most likely do not have any real property to sell you.. conventionally or rent to own.
