I tried to book a car thru their internet site from Priceline that partnered with rental cars.com or is it the same owners?

The first thing was to fill out a request form online at their website like e-mail and credit card info first!

After you pick a car in their system, they will find give you a car that is available in that area and prices based on size and model.

In this case they said the cheapest car was available, but I needed to book it now as it was filling up fast and limited quantities. 

I clicked the button for the cheapest car and waited a min before I received a conformation back that the car I requested was NOT available anymore.

They said I would need to pick another more expensive car and it was available. I decided NOT to book a car and keep searching other options and I logged off their website system.

After 10 min I received a notice in my e-mail inbox that my car was booked and it was for the cheaper car. 

Wow! I found this fascinating and wondered how this happened. I sent a replay back to them that I never booked a car, because their system told me it was not available at that location. 

Now, I travel all over the world and I have seen many scams in my time, but this takes the case. I could not call them at all and I had to send an e-mail. I told them that their system gave me a notice that the car was not available they said that was not true. (Please make sure when you are on any websites that gives you a notice back, you need to print or save every page before you refresh the pages.) 

Needless to say they told me that I needed to pay a (cancellation fee) because it was 48 hours before they said I cancelled the car that I never booked online. (Great Scam using their internet system) Who is check their software to prove otherwise! 

The charge was going to be equal to 3 days rental.

Not only did they charge me the full amount of the rental it took them 2 days to refund me the said difference. The amount was for $ 681.67 USD Then they only refunded me $561.38. Keeping $120.29 for the car I never booked online or was available in their system!

We have all the e-mails and my bank is working on my refund with pleasure.

I'll keep everyone posted on the final outcome!

Internet Buyer Beware as you can book a car that you never agreed to book when it not available!
