Repairtech sucks! I have had a HORRIBLE experience. Their phone service is awful, unprofessional, discourteous, and obviously an uneducated and untrained group of front line customer service staff.
I had a camera in for service for over 6 weeks. I take it out of the box, and it still has the exact same problem. This has been the 3rd time into service for the same problem. ( Minolta Maxxim D7 Digital SLR ) I spoke with the Repairtech service center, he referred me to speak to Iman Mounesa at 888-814-8324 ext 213. I have left 3 message for him, and absolutely no response or call back in over a weeks time. I called and asked for a supervisor. The answers have been "Sorry, they are all in a meeting." I asked "When will they be out? " The 'customer service representative' responds with "I don't know, I will send you to voice mail." I then asked, "Is there no one I can speak with? A manager, supervisor, owner? " A simple response "No." And the cycle continues. Piss Poor service is an understatement!
No customer service is more accurate!
www.repairtechinc.com - Avoid this company like the plague!
www.GLOBALxxxxx(((REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))).com is a related company. Same story. Avoid like the plague!!
As of today (December 30, 2008), they have disconnected their 888 toll free number. They now direct you to a new number 908-372-0767 - I have never received a phone call from them to discuss the problem. After over 1 month, they are only communicated by emails. These guys are on the run I think. After speaking with one of their managers at the Miami repair center, I was given the impression that they are not paying their repair centers for warranty repairs they had completed. These guys are on the verge of going out of business.
DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTIES, and Attention Retailers, STOP SELLING REPAIRTECH Warranties!!!
RepairTech's website says "Repairtech: Service Beyond the Call" - The catch is, they don't answer the call!
Their website has removed all the contact information except for 1 email address. No phone numbers, no addresses, etc. How are you going to trust a business that is now hiding from their clients?
After my camera was NOT repaired for the 3rd time, they now want me to pay $45 to them to have the item that was in the service center for 2 months and returned to me still broken. I replied to the email and CC'ed other emails that I had found over the past 2 months, and those emails are no longer working. Sounds very smelly.
