Update: ResMAC has made good on their commitments to me. I just needed to give Nelson the time he requested to close out my branch.

Just to give you an idea of how argent these guys are after a month of trying to get paid here is what I had deal with from Nelson Haws (and I still haven't been paid yet):

Nelson,
I know you don't care. You have had several weeks to close out our branch and have not done so. If it what you are telling me is true then you should have called me before yesterday, when the payment was due, to tell me there would be a delay. Not force me to extract that information from you. What do you think my next step should be? What would you do if you were me?
Remember your inability to follow-though on your commitments has created this issue not me. I am sure this procedure for terminating a branch was just put in place just like the payroll change that cause these exact checks not to be issued on the 15th. Lets stop this banter and just get it done. Please.

JaimeI really do not care what you find acceptable. There is a process in place for closing out your branch.

Nelson, That answer isn't acceptable. What I read into it is that I won't be paid my full amount "advising you of the payment being issued". There is no excuse for the W2 portions not to have been paid, it was required to be paid weeks ago on termination. Your workload is not my issue, you made a commitment to have it done yesterday and I was patient, I am no longer willing to wait, my patients has been exhausted. You had an opportunity to communicate with me and you failed to do so, you wasted my time hunting you down to get a response. You are correct neither of us has time to be answering a million emails about this so just get it done now and lets put it behind us. Dan already informed me the check is cut and on his desk. All you need to do is walk into his office and sign it. Lets not waste anymore time escalating this further.

Jaimethis is being addressed. I am very short handed this week and things are taking longer than normal. You will receive payment once your branch is properly closed outthis takes time and I am doing the best I can. I do not have time to be answering a million emails about thisplease let everything work as it is designed and things will get closed out and you will get paid. Many of us are working over the weekend so I expect this will be addressed than. As soon as it is complete, I will send you an email advising you of the payment being issued. This is the best I can do for right now.

Nelson, After repeated attempts to reach you I have not heard anything from you today. My request to you is a simple one, let me know why our checks are delayed and when they will be paid or tell me that you won't be paying me and my team. Even better just put my checks in the mail today. I was able to reach Dan and even more frustrated when he told me that our checks are sitting on his desk waiting to be signed and maybe it would go out next Wednesday. Why maybe, is ResMac broke? This is for payment on 1 file, our last one with you, that was funded on the 6th and payroll / expenses sent to Dan on the 8th. I think I have been more then patient. Maybe the other people receiving this email can let me know if they have been paid or not? Nelson, you need to communicate so that we don't have to escalate this any further. You know that once state and federal agencies get involved they can't just be called off. My team, especially those being paid W2, are telling me they are not willing to wait any longer. I am sure you are aware that CA law required you to pay those wages upon termination which was several weeks ago (http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/faq_paydays.htm). So, I ask once again, please communicate before this gets out of hand. I can't calm anyone down without some type of response from you. Sincerely, Jamie

Nelson, You gave me your word that we would be paid on the 30th. Telling me that you are too busy is not an acceptable response. When will you be making good on your commitments? Jamie

Jaime we are exceptionally busy and the payments are being processed. I will advise when everything has been closed out. Today was the last day of the month and we were focused on handling more pressing matters. This is next on the list.

In our last conversation you made a commitment to send our check to cover our marketing invoice as well as the payroll checks that were due to the LO and Processors. You know that when you and your team do not communicate we are going to assume the worst case, that you have no intention to pay. My gut reaction tonight is to be unreasonable and overbearing in my attempts to get an answer and get paid. I am not going to do that tonight. Instead I am going to sleep on it tonight in the hopes that this will be resolved first thing in the morning (or perhaps even tonight). Which can be done with a simple phone call, email, or FedEx tracking number. I think that a response is reasonable to ask for and not too much for you to deliver.

I think I will be creating my own report on RipOffReport.com regarding resmac.com and how they treat their employees.

on the web.
The CEO of Wells Fargo appears towards the end of that four minute video. It might be a good idea to send him a copy of your Ripoff Report, since you stated that Wells Fargo is buying their loans.
You can also send a copy of your Ripoff Report to your Attorney General.
Good luck to you.

What mortgage company would you recommend for doing business through, structured like ResMac, in the case a branch wanted to switch?
