REUNION.COM ripoff - Dishonest, fraudulent advertising No Refund policy Los Angeles CA
REUNION.COM sends out URGENT e-mails claiming that old friends are searching for YOU. When you click the link, you find out you have to purchase a "Premium Package" to find out WHO. Excited and curious I purchased the package -- only to find that the "old friends" that were looking for me were names of people NEVER HEARD OF; living in places I NEVER LIVED IN; going to schools I NEVER WENT TO. So I e-mailed each person that had "searched" for me. They disputed ever running a "search" with my name and one hadn't even been on the website in over six months. I attempted to immediately cancel my membership (in less than 1 hour) and was advised I could not cancel and there were no refunds and I could telephone their customer support. When I DID call customer support they gave me the run-around and refused to issue a credit. After several attempts by me they did offer a "discount" of $12. DO NOT USE REUNION.COM -- they are DISHONEST and use CRIMINAL ACTIONS in an attempt to steal your money.
