Richard came into our business on November 29th, 2007 and told us he could set up our web page and maintain it and make any changes we needed to make. When asked how long it would take him to get the page up and running, he told us less than 2 weeks. He took us to the computer and showed us other web pages he had set up and talked to us and promised he would do a great job and we would be proud of our site. He wrote up a contract and I signed it and gave him the $250.00 deposit the balance was due when he finished. He made an appointment to come in the next Friday to take pictures and set us up. He never showed. I was worried because I noticed he cashed our check the same day I gave it to him. I thought that was a bad sign cause if he was as good as he said why not run the check through his account. We never heard from him again. I called the number he gave me, he would not answer. Finally, he called and told Kathy he had a death in the family. We felt bad for him and gave him a little time to get things together. I called him in a few weeks and nothing again. I did reach him by email and asked for our money back. He said he was sorry he could give us our money back or he could move forward with the web page. I said we really wanted the website set up and we would try this again. I wanted to give him a chance to make this right. Well, guess what, nothing again.

Finally I emailed him and got no answer and I email him and told him I knew he was getting my voice messages and emails, he email me and told me he had sent me an email and told me he would send a check, never happened. I email him again and told him I was tired of this little game he was playing. I told him I could understand he had a death in his family but so did I. I lost my sister 3 days after Christmas. I told him I could not let my business go because of my loss I had to keep going. I wanted my money back. I told him if I did not get my money back I would place an ad in the same paper he got our name from and tell every business out here what a scam he was. He emailed me back and told me not to be an a*****e. I told him he was the a*****e, he was the one out there taking money for jobs he couldn't do and I was sick of him. I have not heard from him since. I have emailed him and called him and he will not return my messages. He hides behind his computer, what a man. More like a mouse. My last message was " God is watching you and one day you will have to answer to him why you did you did".

We are a small shop and we work very hard to keep our doors open and we try to please everyone that comes through our doors. For someone to come in and rob us of 250.00 is so wrong. I only hope one day he meets someone and they can take care of him.

RIC HIMSELF PROVES HE IS A SCAM

#2Consumer Suggestion

Fri, April 18, 2008

Ric comes up with a figure of 90% of listings here are bogus. Where did you get that figure? How did you calculate 90%? Why would all these people say the same thing about you? Secondly, from what you have done to people, it is amazingly similar how you defrauded designers and clients. Not only are people beginning to list their stories, your fraud can be tracked through the courts; clerk.org, sunbiz.org, etc. You have judgements against you. Or, are 90% of those court cases bogus as well? Lastly you say Bay Life Designs has nothing to do with Deisgn Advertising Group? It's the same scam under a different name. You shut Design Advertising Group down. Why would you do that if you were legitimate? Why would you shut down a business with a thousand websites or 1500, whatever you said in your ad? That makes no sense. Client problems being settled? You can't possibly have enough money to settle all the disputes and scams that you have put upon honest people. And it appears you are continuing to scam more people. Do you still have judgements due to people that you haven't paid? Check clerk.org. If you do, how are others supposed to believe you will send their refunds. What about the designers whom you owe money? Your activities can be tracked through public records and what you say simply does not add up. You keep digging yourself into a hole and it's sad.

UPDATED INFORMATION, REFUND COMING

#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thu, March 20, 2008

First of all, I'm finding that anyone can right anything in this Rip Off website, weather correct or incorrect...and the reports are just listed. I'm finding of the thousands of companies that have reported on 90% of the reports are false... So, first of all, Bay Life Designs has nothing to do with Design Advertising Group. Design Advertising group is shut down...so people, make a note of this. Client problems are being settled. If you are due a refund, this is coming, by writing information over and over again is just beating a dead horse. Your refund will come.
