I could make this a long drawn out banter back-and-forth. But, I'd like to keep this a little more proper than that.
Originally, this vehicle was purchased for this customers son. There was a situation where we took this vehicle to another dealership to be diagnosis for a problem with it and that dealer never found anything wrong with it. Once, this customer had an issue with the vehicle, we immediately had her and her son take the vehicle to the same dealership to diagnosis the vehicle. We were all prepared to have the vehicle fixed at no-charge to the customer and the customer started making claims to the warranty company about the vehicle and the "possible" previous issue (Remember, the intermittent problem was never worked on).
Therefore, we sort of, washed our hands of the vehicle because the customer was, obviously, handling the situation with the service agreement from Chrysler.
Then, customer said they have claimed to have paid $3500.00 for repairs to vehicle and we asked for copies of charges that were paid to other dealership. We are willing to get involved in the costs of the repairs and haven't seen ANY bills, cancelled checks, credit card charges, or paid receipts.
Therefore, until something can be produced that shows the customer actually had something repaired and there were costs incurred to the customer, we won't get involved.
The Better Business Bureau has dropped the case because of this reason. We, as an upstanding dealership with a A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau believe this is a scam.

10/29/13 - The car was completely repaired on October 29th by Bill Jacobs Mini in Naperville. I picked it up and paid for the repairs out of my own pockets. The car now runs and operates as it should.
Paul of Riverfront Chrysler has no care or want to even help me in this matter knowing this was a problem before he sold me the car. This is dirty and immoral. In good faith I think he would take responsibility in a problem and help a customer.
If he were to help me, I may consider buying a car there, recommend them to others, and commend them for their honesty. At this point, it's all the opposite. He also hasn't responded to BBB.
As far as I see, they don't have any bad marks on their records.
I hope he would take care of this situation through BBB before I will have no choice to take him to court.
