Robert Boone Don't fall for his fast talk. Very convincing! DeSoto Texas
Robert Boone is a scam artist. He is a shisty fast talker. He will sell you a dream and not deliver. Robert was hired to renovate both bathrooms in my house. The guest bathroom and the master. We sent him pictures of what we wanted and he even came over and discussed it. We signed a contract and he was supposed to renovate both bathrooms for $4800. He was to start 10/10/15 and complete the job within two weeks. He came on 10/10 and gutted the first bathroom. He returned as promised the next Monday, and he worked really good up until about week three or four. He then began to show up on Thursday and Friday and work a few hours each day each week.
After several broken promises via text to return to complete the job, Robert informed us of personal issues going on in Dallas that was hindering him from working, however he promised he would be back to New Orleans to complete the job soon. Several more weeks passed and no Robert. He made several excuses for not being able to work. He even told us he could not work when it was raining. After begging him to come work in the house, he would take a flight from Dallas to New Orleans and once here never show up if the weather was rainy.
After being very patient, at week 7, and several texts back and forth, Robert texted us that he needed time to get his mind right because of the personal issues he was dealing with at home. Needless to say, Robert was fired. He got a first payment to start the job, and a second payment in which he was to use to order a frameless shower door for the master bathroom. After being asked not to return, we asked for our second payment back or the shower door he was supposed to order.
He then began to give us the run around about the shower door and continued to have an attitude as if we did something wrong. He broke the contract with us and did not complete one thing. The accent tiles in the bathroom have to be removed and redone. If he does not know how to do something, he will try to do it anyway and mess it up. He grouted the tile floor around the vanity left hardened grout all over the wood. He put the tile crooked on the shower wall, which he did fix. Robert left my house in disarray, the bathroom vanity is not connected so no running water, texture on the wall that has been half painted, no baseboards and half grouted shower wall.
Robert did not even start on the other bathroom and refused to without any additional money. He finally contacted us and stated the place he ordered the shower door from would send a refund check to us. Waiting to see....
