I have been reading all the comments made about Roni Deutch and the fees that she charges. While I know complicated returns cost more money than she advertises, does anybody know if she has ever settled a cash for $20, and if so, what did it entail?
From what I have read, it appears she is engaging in false advertising unless she has actually settled a claim for what she says.

WELL, WELL, WELL. telleroftruth must know ole Dan J, pretty well to quote that particular piece of Latin. I thank you for reminding me why I'm such a hard a*s about some things, and why it is the right thing to be.
You are quite correct in thinking that they were not interested in the truth of any of the postings. Only the identity of those making the postings. I tried to talk some sense into the Atty. taking the deposition. He seemed like an OK guy, too bad to see a good reputation get caught up in the Deutch Klan. In my unqualified humble opinion (at it is only my opinion) it would be better to be listed on Megan's Law as a repeat offender than attached to Roni Lynn Deutch. Most pedophiles only hurt a few dozen or even a few hundred helpless individuals. Can Roni say as much? If so there should be literally thousands of satisfied clients who are thankfull enough to speak out for RLD.
Do the math 300 to 700 clients per month equals 18,000 to 42,000 OICs in just the last 5 years. (she has been doing this for considerably longer) How hard can it be to find 100 out of 42,000 who have actually been helped. Although out of the 200+ clients I brought into the firm, I never heard of any of them getting a settlement. I fact all of the settlements that were posted while I was there were names that none of the Tax Directors recognized. We couldn't figure out who's clients they were cause none of us talked to them. Maybe they were just names off of headstones, there wouldn't be many customer complaints that way.
The Certificate of service for my subpoena was dated 2 days prior to me being served, although it clearly started that under penalty of perjury the signor affirmed that the a statement was true. It was, however not true and the document was altered, falsified, forged. Or maybe I just imagined the process server at my door 2 days after the sworn statement affirms I was served. Their attorney appeared sincere in hid denial of any knowledge of the reason the dates and sworn statement didn't match reality. I am considering lodging a complaint with Cal BAR.
Is deception part of the Roni Lynn Deutch Klan standard operating procedures? Maybe someone should ask that question to someone under oath.
By the way Telleroftruth , you just proved to me that you are not who they think you are LMAO, all that money spent barking up the wrong 2 trees. Troy, Shawn make sure I'm on the witness list when this goes to trial ,....Juries have always liked me.
And finally I join the rest of the former employees of The Law office of Roni Lynn Deutch who offer an apology to all those who became clients of Roni Lynn Deutch et al. As a result of my salesmanship. I really thought I was helping each of you. I have to live with it. I am truly Sorry.
ANY PERSON WITH A CIVIL CASE AGAINST THE LAW OFFICE OF RONI LYNN DEUTCH FOR MISREPRESENTATION, MALPRACTICE OR ANY OTHER VIOLATION THAT MY TESTIMONY WOULD HELP YOUR CASE PLEASE HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CONTACT ME.

I have been posting different things on this website for some time now and even though I have resorted sometimes to a battle of whats right and whats wrong, I have always believed in the premise that Roni's office CAN do what they say, yet so many times they do not.
I am still in contact with some of the people that hired Roni at my selling them the process.....after all they do not hire the law firm, they hire the individual. Virtually all of them including the ones I hear about from other "former" tax directors cry out the same tune. Roni has not settled their tax issues, some have been waiting as long as 3-4 years.
Trying to get Roni to change in this forum is like trying to fight the Devil with a bic lighter. She is spending what appears to be thousands of dollars to try to shut people up from using their first amendment rights....which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Why in the HELL are you NOT spending those monies in a more productive way condusive of your BUSINESS? You are really a hateful person and you can secretly laugh while Scott, Russ, Randy, Greg, Matt, Cindy, Timothy, or anyone else shining up your arse for some brownie points or payments comes on this or any other website and tries to belittle the comments made by hard working people who's only mistake in life was trusting your "I'll settle your case for 20 dollars", or "pay the IRS nothing" commercials. If you mean "pay them nothing" by putting them in a CNC state then SAY SO!!?!?!?!? You are misleading and the Tax Directors are doing their best....have some of that touted integrity you are always willing to get on your soap box about and stop screwing people. If you have too much work, SLOW DOWN, don't be a crook....
Dan, I hope everything is good with you and your family and everything went well in your depo. I am betting they did NOT want to hear or discuss all of the illegal actions you mentioned on this site......whew.....what I would have given to be there when you were talking. Well, good luck to you and yours and pet the doggies for me.

As others have observed, you can file an Officer in Compromise without having to hire and attorney. The IRS even has instructions in its website:
http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0%2C%2Cid=109628%2C00.html
If the IRS won't accept an offer in compromise, you might consider contacting a bankruptcy attorney to see if you can get rid of your tax with in a Chapter 13 or Chapter 7. Whether or not you can get rid your taax depends the kind of tax involved, the age of the tax, whether a return was filed and the chapter of bankruptcy selected.
In most case, income tax that is over 3 years old can be discharged. However, you should see a qualified attorney to make sure.

Well dip me in fuzzy pig poop!
Up until about 0630 this AM Scott Juceum, Roni Lynn Deutch, Russel Deutch, Greg Flahive and the rest of the Katzenjammer Kids were just a bad memory.
But alas, this morning, I was served a subpoena to testify in case # 04A801974 in Sacramento County Superior Court.
I found this site listed as a defendant and I'll be, if someone hasn't spilled the beans about the Deutch Klan. My bet is it was Scott Juceam, he always needed to brag about the things he was privy to. What ...Oh what! could they possibly want to ask me.
I was but a lowly Tax Director (tele sales rep).
Maybe they want to ask me if Scott Juceum ever told me how Roni was helping him hide assets and income so he could file a real OIC.
Maybe they want to ask me if Scott Juceum told me how they faked assets and income so Russel Deutch would qualify for a home loan.
Maybe they want to ask me If Scott Juceum ever explained the Las Vegas Cocaine connection to me.
Maybe they want to ask me if I know anything about a policy of EDUCATING the potential client on how to be CREATIVE and use up enough income in each allowable category to qualify for an OIC.
Or Maybe they want to ask me If I ever heard Scott Juceaum threaten a client who was behind on payments to Roni Lynn Deutch.
Maybe they want to ask me about the 25cal semi-auto Scott Juceum liked to keep in his Gym bag, and show to anyone who would be impressed.
Maybe they just want to ask me if I know who has been posting all the revelations on this site, Thats the one thing I don't have any knowledge of but from what I have read thus far (and I haven't read all that is here) I think It could probably be any former Director of Taxation Services", I personally can verify about 70% of the postings I have read so far as things that were common knowledge among the Tax Directors or things that I have been told first hand by either Russell Deutch or Scott Juceum. or things I know to be true because of personal observation.
I do look forward to Apr 26th
Maybe they just miss my sheepish good looks and boyish figure,
What ever it is they want to ask me I'll tell them the truth and hopefully the next deposition I give will be in a criminal case that results in disbarment for some of less than honorable parties to this matter.

I lost $1000 to the scum that work in this firm. I thought I did my homework and checked with the State Bar of California Sacramento Branch. There were NO complaints. I thought I was safe until the IRS told me that I was wasting money on an attorney.
Please, please, please--if you are a victim file a formal complaint! You'll probably never see your hard earned money again - it has been stolen - but you get good karma for saving someone else. You need good karma when dealing with the IRS.

My brother recently hired Roni Deutch to represent him with 8,000 dollars worth of tax debt. He is a minimun wage worker who was trying to get his tax status straight. After 10 months and 3,000 dollars of sending payments to Roni Deutch it took a whole week for his claim to be denined by the IRS. Roni Deutch called him to let him know and said that is the end of their agreement.
My brother scraped and saved to make his payments while being pressured by a representive of the firm to make his payments on time or he will loose everything. After making his payments he was told have everything is on track and there won't be any problems. He is out 3K and just about after two weeks of being scammed by Roni Deutch my brother has had his minimun wage paycheck garnished by the IRS. My brother was trying to do the right thing by getting his tax problems taken care of only to have it turn out to be a costly negative experience. We are looking into any avenue possible to show what the Roni Deutch firm is about.

When I worked for Roni I was appalled by their lack of concern or care for clients with wage garnishments. I told Greg Flahive (Roni's right hand man) that I wanted to educate potential clents on how to stop their own garnishment before signing power of attorney over to Roni.
The reason being that the potential client could do this themselves with a 3 minute phone call in many cases and it would take Roni's staff of lawyers months in some cases but never faster and couple of weeks as I witnessed. Greg told me that this would not make sense because the potential clients would realize that didn't need a lawyer.
That's when I started realizing that Roni cared more about her bank account than the hungry families of clients with wage garnishments or bank levys. Roni loses a lot of great sales people because her apathy and aloofness with her clients and sales staff. Sales people are scared of her. In my opinion she should seek psychological counselling about her meanness and anger issues. She's the meanest, most uncaring, spiteful, moody, and unpredictable of any employer I've ever had.

Come on now guys this is too much.......Well, well, well.... looky here it's one more of Roni's attorneys Matt Ritchie himself. Matt you also know of Roni's temper and her practices. You are not one of the people selling pie in the sky dreams to people of 250 dollar offers then smashing them into the rocks when they find out that their settlement amount is nowhere near that! I started on this quest after reading the rebuttals that Greg made on 4 or 5 different clients complaints.
His starting message is pre written then he goes into each individual's situation. I was under the same process delusion that you are trying to make people that read this believe better about the law firm.
I too am happy to tell a client that their wage garnishment has been released, only I give them the news in 1 HOUR, not "a few weeks" like you and the other attorneys trained me to tell people.
You come to work with a smile on your face because you are not under constant threat of "Perform or lose your job" and having a strict goal that is set higher and higher each month.
Were I you, and I was an attorney like Roni, I would feel secure as well. You have been with the firm since you were a law clerk, and of course neither you, nor any other employee would ever come to this report and slam Roni and her practice. That would be extremely dumb.
If you want to really make a great point in life, then do right by people Matt, correlate between the tax directors and processing, let them in on your meetings and you go to theirs. Don't just do a sometimes "Lawyers Lounge" and think that everyone will comply with what they just heard.
There is allot of fun at the law firm and Roni does some great things. She just needs to stop stressing out her sales people with the threat of losing your job if you don't perform, which allows for the complete screwing of the client coming to you for help.
Matt, you too are a great guy (kinda sometimey, but still a great guy) you have always been helpful to the sales force.
This further shows that Roni is more concerned with what an ex-employee says than what these 12 complaining clients have to say about her practices. Focus guys on what's really important and not what your pompous opinions are, you will do the clients a greater service.
After all isn't that the thing that ranks #1? (As opposed to you giving money (1000.00 for who ever guess the right sports team winner.)

I am a current employee of the Law Offices of Roni Lynn Deutch who assist taxpayers in obtaining settlements on their back tax liabilities. I am outraged by "telleroftruth's" unfounded business allegations. Especially, since "telleroftruth" is a former employee who has not worked at this office for quite some time.
Nonetheless, I have decided to put a couple of my thoughts about this office to paper. Everyday I wake up and come to work with a smile on my face. I love helping our clients (and believe me we help our clients tremendously)by negotiating the best possible Offer in Compromise on their behalf or negotiating a relase of their IRS wage garnishment and/or bank levy. Nothing pleases me more than to call a client and inform him/her that their Offer has been accepted or that their wage garnishment and/or bank levy has been released. Unfortunately, "telleroftruth" fails to mention these aspects of our firm in his letters.
Furthermore, I love the people I work for and work with. Roni treats me with respect and as her equal. She is extrmely kind and considerate towards her employees as well as her clients. If "telleroftruth" was really telling the truth, then why do so many of Roni's employees work for her for numerous years. Simple, its because "telleroftruth" is wrong and working for Roni is truly great.

Cyndi, Wow, you are working at such a great place and want to name call, and make judgements on an individuals work quality?....wow.......such grace from a company who claims to be so kind hearted and wonderful. WAIT!!! Could this be Cyndi Flah...nah it couldn't be. You have nothing to hide because you do not WORK FOR RONI.
The only "Cyndi" is or was in processing, or an EX Attorney and neither would have the slightest idea about the selling practices of the Law Firm, they....unfortunately do have experience with Roni's temper tantrums, as do you if you were not so scared of being honest. If you are the wife of the Lawyer who misleads situations on here to cover up the truth, I am sure he comes home venting to you at times. He "Seems" like a decent guy under all of that corporate Bullcorn he wears.
You look into the real goings on in that firm and you will see that people ARE being ripped off by this firm, not ALL, but a great portion....oh, you are enjoying the rip off money too. Thank you for bringing even more clarity to this companies practices Mrs. "F".
By the way, the "Information" I gave was not false, Greg Flahive gave the initial information about the firm to the public here in multiple replies, it was a rehearsed(canned) response by him and Roni. I just showed all concerned parties how to read the truth from it.

If "TellorofTruth" has such high morals and virtues as claimed in his complaint, then stop hiding behind an alias and come out! I have nothing to hide because the Law Offices of Roni Deutch is a great place to work. It is only losers like TellorofTruth that was probably fired that gives great companies bad reputations. It is extremely unfortunate that people like this are given a soap box to preach on when they are completely wrong about with their information. When people are allowed to hide behind this alias of "TellerofTruth" or "batman" or whatever comic book hero he wants to be this week, it is easy to put out garbage about someone even if it is completely false!!!
