ROSENTHAL, STEIN AND ASSOCIATES LLC Illegal Collectional Practices, Threats of Jailtime, Impersonation of a Military Police Agent Marietta, Georgia
My mother was contacted by an "Agent Bennett" from Rosenthal, Stein And Associates, LLC. This "Agent" proceeded to tell her that he was looking for me, gave her my date of birth and the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number. He identified himself as being an agent with the Armed Forces of the United States. He also told her that it was in reference to a payday loan.
This "Agent Bennett" proceeded to tell her that if I did not call back by 1600 EST Monday that their company would arrive at my house with an arrest warrant to arrest me without having to go through the county sheriff's department as it was a "Federal Case" and the State of Arkansas and my county would not have proper jurisdiction. All of which she knew was false because she is a Circuit Judge.
When she informed this "Agent Bennett" that she was a Circuit Court Judge for the State of Arkansas and the information that he was disclosing to her was a violation of Federal Laws and of the State of Arkansas, this "Agent" promptly told her that she could take her "Hick @ss law degree and shove it up her @ss." He continued that he "was an attorney and knew the law", and that "she should go back to law school to receive a refresher course.", and then promptly hung up the phone.
After I talk to this "Agent Bennet" first thing Monday morning, I will file criminal harassment charges against Rosenthal, Stein And Associates, LLC. as well as a civil harassment lawsuit alongside the FDCPA civil suit in my local Circuit Court.
If you are in the State of Arkansas and are being harassed by Collection Agencies over a payday loan, the Supreme Court of the State of Arkansas nullified and voided all such contracts, including those made over the Internet and issued a blanket 'forgiveness' that states that the loans can not be collected as they violated Arkansas's Usury Laws. The Attorney General has also stated that payday loan debts can not be collected from residents of the State of Arkansas and has launched lawsuits against several Collection Agencies for trying to collect the debts, as well as not having a license to practice the business of a Collection Agency in the State of Arkansas. According to records from the Secretary of State and the Attorney General, Rosenthal, Stein and Associates, LLC. are not authorized to engage in any business practices within the State of Arkansas.
Arkansas is a one-party state with regards to recording telephone calls, which means that as long as you know that you are recording the calls of the "Agents"'s harassments and flagrant violations of the FDCPA and Arkansas Laws this telephonic evidence can be used in courts if you decide that you wish to sue Rosenthal, Stein And Associates, LLC. in Circuit Court.

The State of Arkansas's Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection (AAGOCP) has Rosenthal, Stein and Associates classified as a SCAM.
After speaking with the AAGOCP on Monday after getting yelled at and threatened (life and liberty) and playing the recording for the AAGOCP, they informed me that Rosenthal, Stein and Associates were considered a scam by the AAGOCP and therefore they can not and will not be allowed to be registered to do business within the State of Arkansas nor with any of her Citizens. If you get a call from Rosenthal, Stein and Associates contact your state's Attorney General's Office immediately to file a complaint.
The advice from the AAGOCP was to ignore their calls or to even call and annoy Rosenthal, Stein and Associates to the point where they give up and refuse to even talk to you. However, do not send any money to this so-called company. After hearing my recording of the collection agent's rants, raves and threats, the AAGOCP said that it was contacting the FBI in order to report their practices as being harassing, telecommunications threatening violations which will also bring the Federal Communications Commission into the mix and if anyone has mailed the company anything of value, call and report them as having committed mail fraud to the United States Postal Service, and your local sheriff/constable/police agency for possible violations of State anti-harassment laws.
