Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On May 27th I had a voice mail left on my cell phone by an Agent davidson, claiming that a complaint had been filed against me and he needed to hear from me immeadiatley.

I called the number that he left and he told me that I was being investigated for check fraud, and then asked me if i knew the laws regarding check fraud in my state.

He then informed me that I had wrote a check to a payday loan company and attempted to defraud them of their money, by writing a check then closing the account.

I ttried to tell him that I did not write a check then close the account, but he was very rude and unprofessional and yelled at me and told me he had the file in front of him.  I tried to tell him that I had never been contacted by any body stating that I owed them money.

He stated that the check was wrote in 2006 or 2007.  I again tried to tell him I had not known about this and your jut now informing me of a debit I knew nothing about.

Agent Davidson then stated I had until 4pm on Monday to pay the 700 plus or it was going to be turned over to law enforcement, I would be arrested for check fraud and go to jail.

When I told him I did not have 700 dollars, and offered to do payments, he refused and said that I cannot accept payments.  He then switched me to a Miss Brown, If I remember right and she was just as rude and unprofessional as agent Davidson.

I again, told her the same thing I told Agent Davidson, I don't have 700 dollars and she told me to go "PAWN" my stuff in my house, I'm sure you have something that is worth 700.00 dollars.

She refused to accept any kind of payment arrangments I offered, she then told me that I cannot help you and if you don't pay by Monday at 4pm it will be turned over to law enforcement.

She then asked me for my checking account information and my debit card number, which I told her I do not have one and if I did, I wouldn't be stupid enough to give it to you. So you could go in and rip off my account.    She then hung up on me.

These people are only a collection agency and are using threats and scare tactics to get people to pay money.   They are very unprofessional and ned to be reported to the BBB and maybe a States Attorney somewhere.

I had wondered how they got my cell phone number and I found out that they had called my employer and a co-worker had given out my number.

I am scared that these people will do what they say and have me arrested.  I do not know if collection agencies have such power, I have never been threatened by one before.

Anyone who has been harassed by any collection agency who states false or misleading information can sue. If everyone will take advantage of your rights to sue these people and collect, we can run them out of business from all the law suits consumers are taking advantage of and get compensation for these types of illegal practices. One ligitimate law firm who has helped me with stopping these type of bloodsuckers is (((ROR REDACTED))) Tell everyone and stop this madness.

Tired of being sick and tired.
