I had an agreement to pay a certain amount to Rubin & Rothman last October. /on end of June 2010. I received a letter stating that I have failed to make on or more payments. I had already paid them a large amount and have a balance of $500.00. I know that i have until Oct. 2010 to pay yet it is June/July nandnthenare saying I need to pay the balance in full without giving me a time limit as to when. I went online to try to make a payment but the website is set up in a way where I cannot view the previous payment made or the balance owed. The site requested an account number and a pin, but still hard to maneuver. Easy to pay but my ight to see the balance owed or even to sign in was not made available to me.
I received a call about 9pm on 7/7/2010. RRLLC called my house. I was so happy because I an my life back and I'm thinking I will be able to go over the payments made and amount due. I was hoping to make two or three more payments and be done with but she (the caller from RRLLC) started threatening me and demanding my ss#. I told her I was weay of giving my SS# on the phone. Iasked can I ive her another # such as a file etc., but she wouldn't hear of it. she demanded it and was NOT nice. If feel like when a person is down reaching out for a hand and no one is there to reach out and take it in order to lift him off the ground. Instead it's as if she spat at me instead. Times are hard for everyone but pls RRLLC work with us not all of us are deadbeats. Treat people with humanity and in a professional and dignified way.
