I received an unsolicited call from a representative of RX Financial, who began to tell me about a "low-interest credit card." I decided to hear the representative (who had a heavy middle eastern or Indian accent) out. Once it started sounding like they wanted money from me, I told the rep I was not interested, and ended the call.

A few days later, $219.90 was taken out of my account. I refuted the charges, filed a complaint against the company with my bank, and received a full refund of my money. Thinking that the situation was over, I decided there was no need to close my account.

A week or so after that, I received a post card in the mail from ProTel Professional Teleservices, stating that they had been authorized to take $59.80 from my account. Knowing I had not authorized this, I was certain RX Financial was to blame.

Once again, I headed to the bank, where a bank employee contacted ProTel. The ProTel representative said they had a tape of me authorizing the debit. I asked to hear the tape.

When the tape was played, the SAME representative from RX Financial, with the heavy foreign accent, WAS IMPERSONATING ME, supplying my information and replying, "Yes," to the electronic prompts.

ProTel has agreed to send me a refund, and I have since closed my checking account. My advice to all is to HANG UP ON ANY TELEMARKETER WHO CALLS YOUR HOME! Not all telemarketers are bad, but these days you never know when you're getting scammed.

We could actually tell by her spelling and her grammar. Her name is Miriam and she got fired for constantly lying to people and for causing drama at our workplace. She was a customer service rep and I am still geting the repercutions from her actions. Customers still bring up her name as the worst customer service rep. While miriam was here I was not in the authority to do anything like fire or hire people. Just to let ya know I have moved up and have all the authority now. Miriam has now gone on to work at an even worse telemarketing company called encore, so look out for her there.

Dear consumer christina is lieing because I am an ex employee and I know that she does not have the power to fire any of the Indian people they are on a diffrent call floor and she has no right to say she did the man probably still works there but hes in another county she has no authority. Christina you are crazy to think any one would believe your lieing toung especially the people that are mad at you take me for instance I lost my job because you sperad a nasty rumor your going to get your and most likely you will never work in a call center that I have connection in witxh is about all of them I cant wait till EPM goes down. happy thought for all the consumers thanx

I greatly apologize for this, that is a horrible thing for a telemarketer to do. I have personally found the represenative who did that and fired him on the spot. I apologize that he took advantage of you and signed up with our program when you did not want that. further more we have heard your IVR tape and found that it is not your voice. I apologize for any inconvienence this has caused you. Thank you Christina Rice
