Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
After landlord made several verbal agreements and didn't hold her end of the agreement and misrepresentations and entered the premises without making prior arrangements and leaving premises unlocked and insecure I decided to terminate my lease and leave. I have been robbed from before and am very sensitive to being secure. I called and made arrangements to leave and gave Barbara 25 days notice so that she would have time to get another tenant. We made a verbal agreement over the phone for terms that would be mutually beneficial. We also agreed that she would make an appointment to come show the place prior to entering. The very next day she served me with papers to leave in 3 days. She also entered the house with out even a phone call to let me know she was coming in. I put the original locks back on the doors that were on the house when I moved in assuming she had the keys for them(the locks were changed due to a roommate moving out and keys were given to Barbara at the time). She then called me the next day saying she was breaking in. So my friend and I came over to see what was going on and called the cops. I explained the situation to them and they did nothing. I am a nanny and had a toddler that I was watching with me and Barbara proceeded to scream and holler at me calling me trash and a b***h in front of the toddler! I called the cops again fearing for my safety and the safety of the toddler and they showed up and for the second time would do nothing. My friend who was staying with me for a couple weeks while he was between leaving his apartment and purchasing a condo told Barbara's daughter that he wanted to try to come to some kind of agreement with her and to let her know he wanted to talk to her. Shortly after he got to my place after work that night she showed up. He tried to negotiate with her and explained we would be out on the dates originally agreed upon and just could not be out that night like she demanded. She then said she would burn the place down and collect the insurance before that long. The next day when we got home she had changed the locks. We called the cops to see what we could do about it as this is highly illegal but they said they couldn't do anything. We got in through a window that the lock was not completely latched and the whole house reeked of diesel fuel. Also the outside lights which worked fine the night before were bunt out or removed and there was a gas can out back. I found a rope that I had that she had soaked in diesel fuel and placed in the closet with my friends nice clothes and suits. After her threats to burn the place down I was scared for our safety and again called the cops. They again did nothing. At the time she broke into the premises she also rummaged through all my things and I now have a pair of diamond ear rings missing. She also went through my friend's file cabinet looking through all his bank statements and personal information. She then threatened to try to mess with his condo purchase and to take money out of his accounts. She has also called my employer for the toddler that I watch and said I was the one screaming and threatening her trying to get me fired. I would recommend anyone to stay far far away from someone who is so immature and irrational and rude.

I recently visited Saddle Rock Stables and was impressed with what I saw. The stables are well maintained and the horses are definitely looked after. The owner Barbara gave us a complete tour, including a detailed description of all activities and schedules. I feel confident in the future boarding of my horse!

Ken you obviously haven't seen all that's been going on and I don't recall seeing you in the courtroom. That must by why your story of what happened there is a bit off. The judge said that an anti harassment order is used when two people have a relationship (landlord tenant in this case) where they have to be in a relatively close proximity to each other. Being the landlord tenant relationship is now dissolved and Cara has moved away there is no reason for the anti harassment order and that is why he didn't continue it. He said that if either party wanted to file a suit it could be taken care of in small claims court. The judge also read down the list of several of the things she had done and then point blank asked her if she had done it. She didn't deny it and tried to dance around the answer. The judge asked her again more plainly had she done it or not. Trying to to sound to incriminating she replied "not in that context." Furthermore you should really know what you are talking about before you make false statements. Cara is not moving into my new condo with me. She moved into her place last weekend and I'm moving into my condo next week. Both places are approx 20 miles from each other. The IRS has not frozen her accounts like the 2nd had info that Barbara gave you trying to further discredit her. She came up short after paying her taxes. She called Barbara to try to work something out over the phone in which they did. However Barbara immediately fell back on what she said. If Barbara wanted to evict her then she should have gone through the legal channels that she didn't. She got nasty and tried to use scare tactics to get her to move out immediately. And all the complaints above are 100% ACCURATE with witnesses and pictures to prove it, including the officer that came out the night she locked Cara out saw for himself the diesel soaked rope. I have pictures and other witnesses (one in which actually found some of it while he was watching the place) to the items left in the house such as the horse manure, hamburger behind the fridge and the diesel soaked rope in the bedroom. The reason the officers said they couldn't do anything was because they claimed it was a civil matter. I spoke for quite awhile with the sheriff on the phone the night she locked us out and said that they have a Civil Unit that handles this stuff because there are so many laws around it that the on duty officers couldn't know them all. Also that they had no way to look up to see if Barbara had gone through the legal eviction procedures so they had no way to know if she had the right to lock us out or not. You may not like that this information be put on a site that comes up so easily in a Google search, but you can just as easily come one to comment much as you have. You obviously don't know half of what's gone one and just as easily as someone can come on here and post their experiences the person being posted about can find many of their friends to come on and post whom don't have any actual first hand knowledge of the situation much like yourself. Also if you do another search on this site for Saddle Rock Stables you will find another unrelated incident describing the exact same childish behaviors exhibited from Barbara. This shows pattern and further strengthens our case. We have also talked with several people in the area who knew her and they all described her as crazy and irrational. Many others that we spoke to whom dealt with her said to get anything in writing, as she doesn't do as she says. Also the renters in the other house next to the one Cara was staying in were having issues with her as well and promptly moved out at the end of their lease. She kept calling us trash. However I don't think she realizes that just because you don't have a lot of money doesn't make you trash, and just because you do have money doesn't mean you aren't.

I have been a customer of Saddlerock Stables for a long time. Barbara Lindstedt, the owner-operator, is an honest Christian whom I have enjoyed doing business with and with whom I will continue to do business with in the future. My usual business transactions with Barabara usually amount to between $1000 and $3000 per month - if she were as crooked as Cara claims, I would know - and she is NOT! Instead, I can tell you that she is as honest a person as I have ever met. Throughout my business dealings with her I have found her to be honest, intelligent and passionate about making sure that her customers needs are taken care of... while at the same time trying to raise her children and take care of her Husband who has Cancer. Barabara Lindtstedt is a person who tries to live by the tenants of her faith. I reccomend her highly to anyone who wants to do business with her. As usual in disputes of this type, there are two sides to this story. The side I am familar with (and an in-person witness to much of) involves a Tenant who can't pay her rent because the IRS has frozen all of her accounts. The tenant will not make arrangements to pay it late or pay it off over time. When the land-lord inevitably told the tenant that she would have to move or be evicted, the tenant decided the get nasty apparently in order to buy time until she could comfortably move her stuff into her new boy-friend's condominium. She then invents complaints and fantasy's that would seem to justify her harasment of the land-lord and disruption of the land-lords business. "Cara" has described having called the police twice and complains that when they came out that they "would not do anything". The reason that they didn't do anything is because Cara couldn't show that Barabara had done anything wrong. In fact, witnesses to the incident directly contradicted the version of events that she told to the police. (source: Police Reports - King Co. Sheriff's Office - public records). It is true that Cara did get a temporary restraining order against Barabara. This should not be surprising - these sorts of orders are granted automatically any time someone alleges that they have been threatened by another. The order is issued on a temporary basis until it can be examined by a judge with an opportunity for the defendent to confront the plaintiff with their side of the story. In this case, when the order was was finally reviewed in court it was rescinded with prejudice (see Greenblat v. Lindstedt: King Co. Municiple Court - April 25 2007) due to lack of evidence. The judge was explicit when he told Cara that he was not going to allow her to interfere with Barabara's business and that she had not been able to show any actual damages. In short, her case was thrown out of court because it was without merit and her request for an order of protection was denied with prejudice. (source: Court Transcript). I have personally advised Barbara that she should make a criminal complaint to the City attorney about the statements made by Cara Greenblat in her sworn affidavit requesting a protection order - knowingly making false statements in a legal pleading is crime - called Perjury. In addition, I believe that Barabara should sue both Cara and Geoff for Libel, Slander and Breach of Contract. Barabara is a good woman though, and I suspect that she will "turn the other cheek". I am appalled that someone can use this site to file a complaint against somebody and have it feature so prominently in a google search result without any sort of editorial review or basic fact checking. The reviews are then presented to the public outside of the context of a rebuttal or explanation without any meaningful way of presenting the other side of the story. So, here is some advice for Cara - Pay your rent. Pay Barabara what you owe her. Dump Geoff before he dumps you. He has given you a lot of bad advice that is going to come back to haunt you... If you are lucky you will be able to walk away from this situation with just a note on your credit report. On the other hand, if things go the way I would like, you and Geoff will both spend time in the county Jail for perjury and will have to pay Barbara back for the pain and suffering that your actions have caused her, her family and her employees.

It is so sad that it takes a life time to work and make a reputation for yourself then someone who rents from you and is evicted can write anything they want about you. There is not a word of truth in this statenment. It is so twisted and yet this is published. I feel so sorry for this sad person and her boyfriend who tried to cheat my husband and I out of rent and several months of electricity bills. Landloards beware of people who will do this to the homes we have worked so hard to purchase then rent to others.

Well after the long day yesterday I got a court order for her to stay away or she can be arrested. However when I got home today I noticed a foul smell in the master bedroom and bathroom. After doing some inspecting I found Barbara or one of her workers smeared horse manure on both sides of the underside of the tank on the back of the toilet in the master bathroom! Can you believe the lengths she will go to????? This is the kind of stuff I remember happening in grade school!
