Do you mind commenting on the sales process your elder parent experienced with Safeguard. I am looking for others who have been the victims of decptive and predatory sales tactics as my Mother was duped into a $15,000 bath tub. She is an elder and brain cancer patient who had no concept of what was sold to her and at what price. She was led to believe by the sales representative that he Doctor had recommended the product for her. Please provide any information you can.
Thank you,
Scott

After posting these complaints, the company has now pulled a permit and had the county inspect the job, but now the tub cannot be used as it leaks!! The spray nozzle also leaks even though it is completely turned off. We opened the access doors to find water in the wooden subfloor area as well as cold air from the outside. The area rug outside the tub door is soaked and we can't seem to find exactly where is is leaking from. We are also still having a problem with it completely filling with hot water, before it gets to the line to use the jets. So unless you want to take a lukewarm bath in a partially filled tub, and not be able to use most of the tub features this is not for you! The hinges inside the tub are also sharp and require a covering of clear caulking and the door hinge itself is impossible for our mother to close herself as it is too stiff. In addition to the problems with the actual tub, we are still stuck with doing the unfinished job of the workers from the installation. We had to do our own painting of the walls from where they had left marks, smeared caulking (which we had to provide for them) and spaces in the moulding where things were not measured correctly. Still nothing but problems!!
