I too noticed this charge every month on our bank statement, but assumed it was some charge associated with using ATM's throughout our city. After finally speaking to my wife about this I found out it was a charge linked to the PrivacyMatters 1-2-3 "free 30-day trial" membership she signed up for and to which she also cancelled within the 30 day trial. I called privacy matters and the automated answering service like all of you have encountered started, but after listening to it three times I was forwarded to a customer service rep. This person I spoke to sounded very rude and unwilling to help, but said that once you cancel privacy matters that you also need to cancel the Savingsmart membership. I explained that we never signed up for it and she argued we did. I didnt find it worthwhile to argue about the 5 months of $1.00 charges so I asked to cancell that too to which she said she did it already! I hope this is true and will have to wait until next month to verify that the charges stop! I called:Privacy Matters 1-2-3 P.O. Box 5152 Des Plaines, IL 60017-5152 [email protected] (877) 993-6264 Good luck!!!!
