Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Our small business was approached and promised a "Seamless" transition to switch to the latest and greatest "Clover" system. We were told that our inventory of more than 7,000 products could simply be uploaded from an excel spreadsheet. This all occurred back in July 0f 2014.

Everything we were told and promised did not materialize. For more than a year we attempted to get this system up and running. hundreds of hours spent trying to add our products. Ultimately we were told they would all have to be scanned individually!

Additionally, we NEVER utilized the credit card processing during this entire time. Yet we were billed every monthe for 15 months. After finally reaching a level of frustration we tried in August of 2015 to cancel the contract. (((REDACTED))), Regional Manager, continued to make promises to repair the relationship, yet none were ever met to remedy the Clover System or its functionality.

We simply asked to cancel the contract and have our money returned. (((REDACTED))) informed us that we would receive a refund, but that we would have to pay $495 in order to cancel the contract. We assumed this fee would be returned as well. Our refund totaled $1,761. Yet we paid $3,690 including the $495. So a loss of more than 40%.

When I asked for the additional money (((REDACTED))) response was:

The agreement was to eliminate the 48 non-cancellable lease agreement, not to issue any other refunds for processing fees.

The check you have received is for the lease payments and eliminating the rest of the 48 month term.

SBGA appears to seek and underhandedly take advantage of small business owners.
