Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Took my car in for a check engine light and replace timing belt. When I dropped it off I told them I was aware there may be extensive damage to the car's engine because of timing belt.  They fixed check engine light(was the starter sensor) and replaced timing belt. They gave me my car back and said I was "good to go". I was stoked my engine wasn't more damaged by they timing belt being so bad. But the next day it died on the highway. Towed it back to them, after a few weeks they found a few valves to be damaged. They said they felt "bad" and would cover the cost of the labor if I paid for parts. I thought what a good stand up kind of business to do this. Boy was I mistaken.

We started out by trying to order a new engine, well the cost was too high so they decided to fix all the existing parts.  They ordered valves and pulled engine block and sent it to a machine shop. While doing so found some damaged pistons, ordered those.  After being told for a month and a half the parts were on back order they arrived and valves were sent off to machine shop. Machine shop said block was too damaged so they sent it to a different shop, when they found the cost to repair it would be 3/4 cost of engine they decided to back with original idea and order the engine.  This is now at month 3.

New engine arrives, they install it, it's defective. They pull engine send it back to where they bought it from and got a replacement, this is now at month 4. We have been very kind and patient with them until this point.  But we got a little pissy and guy says "well you can just take it to someone else then!" What the heck!?! So after a week and a half they install second engine and then claim the first engine was free but second engine was $800 install fee. I was never told this until the day it was ready and I never signed a work order. I paid it to get car back but I will go through better business bureau and if that doesn't get my $800 back I'm going to small claims court. I've never met a sleazier bunch of people in my life. I know my car was in bad shape that is why I warned them back in the beginning! If they had checked it right the first time they would have made all that labor. It was not my fault they got lazy!! Maybe they ought to go after the guys who sent the defective engine.
